Navy Lodge | Moffett Field — Attraction in Mountain View

We have been a very frequent and loyal customer of the Moffett Field Navy Lodge for years. The previous manager, Marci, ran the lodge with efficiency and excellence! The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day and the morale of the staff was high!

Checking in on Sunday and out, tomorrow, there is a lack of leadership here as evidenced by our room not being cleaned for 3 days in a roll with beds unmade, no refills of water and failure to replenish towels by the cleaning staff after repeated requests to do so! Today, I was assured that the room would be made up, but it never happened. We continue to get excuses that they are short on staff. Other Navy Lodges provide outstanding services and clean rooms.

The staff that was here before Marci left are courteous, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, but unable to accommodate my requests since staff cannot make decisions! This lodge has no manager and the service has diminished in terms of maintaining clean rooms.

Old but rooms are being offered at a reasonable price for active duty and retired military. Our room wasn't ready for check-in when we arrived so we found the commissary and returned at at 3:00. Unfortunately, when we returned they didn't have a room for tonight ( reservations were made 3-4 months ago) and offered to pay for a night at another hotel (Quality Inn, I think) and have us return tomorrow for the rest of our five night stay. There was an issue with guests that were PCSing and they did not check out as expected. We declined the offer and they gave us our room. The drapes fell down after the third day but someone repaired it while we were out sightseeing. Housekeeping was pretty good, no complaints there. Overall it was okay to just sleep in and watch a little television. It has kitchenettes so we made coffee, popcorn, had cold drinks after a long day, etc. We did not partake of the complimentary breakfast but we were informed it was available...

The Navy Lodge Moffett is a must stay location in the Bay Area! From the General Manager, Marcy, to the Front Desk staff, Christina and Jimmy, it truly a first class crew. Marcy can be seen early in the morning and late into the evening making sure the lodge is comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. She always has a smile and is a super manager, friendly and kind to the staff. We stayed for two weeks and met a number of the staff members. All happy to be here. It translates to pride in their professions. The property is incredibly clean and tidy! In my decades staying in various Navy Lodges, this lodge is my top recommendation. The cleaning staff are meticulous and helpful. Elke tended to our room and she was very professional, kind, and took pride in her cleaning services.
