Scabies alert room 116. So the wife and I who had not seen each other for over a week due to work met up here for a single night together and went our seperate ways as I have another week of work in the south bay. A few days later we both started itching. she went to the doctor who diagnosed her with scabies aka body lice. We are both clean working professionals, she is a registered nurse. This is the only place we've spend any time together in the last few weeks. This used to be a very nice clean well-run hotel. I have watched it slowly getting run into the ground by the management. I will never stay here again. I will also be calling the health department.

Started at this generic motel while visiting my favorite Mountain View company. It was very close, which is nice, but accommodations were so-so. Looks better on inside than outside. Rooms larger than expected, but has old smell. I was locked out of my room and facility staff had to ultimately break in the back window. I was displaced a couple hours until ~1am. I didn't complain and just waited in lobby; and while they were nice about it I was only offered free snacks, which I didn't need. Can't believe this was over $200/nt, but that's this price for high season and last minute reservations.

Nothing too special. Yet nothing too bad. Pretty quiet upstairs room. Solo business trip. Free WiFi and a free breakfast. The breakfast is served at 8am in a clubhouse. Waffle maker, bagels, muffins, cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, OJ, Etc. The King sized bed was comfortable and seemed clean. It appears they have a washer and dryer for those on longer stays. Downtown area with many dining choices super close by. There's also a Chevron gas station next door. The lobby sells snacks and drinks but you won't find those in your room. Single cup coffee maker and a tiny microwave.

This place..... wow... OK here is the good.

The place is cheap. The beds are relatively new, somewhat comfy and the pillows aren't bad. It is very close to major companies in Mountain View. It is OK for a temporary stay. New Samsung flat-screen TV. Parking is great. THE BAD I swear I can smell sewage every once in awhile. The sink is awful. No pressure. The shower is from the 1980's. Very nasty. I kind of feel dirtier after I shower here. The towels seem like something you would clean the floor with not your body. the WIFI is god awful ( here is the trick. Take the long blue ethernet cable from behind the TV and plug up your laptop, otherwise you won't have any decent internet connection. The cable was like 18 MBPS while the wifi barely stayed connected. The carpet is nasty. The housekeepers turn off the AC and open the windows, so when you come in, the place is HOT. The housekepers flipped my Do Not Disturb sign to Service please, every day I have been here. There is no lobby. Your door leads to outside, very scary, kind of like a budget motel. The AC never stops blowing and it is very loud, especially since they shut OFF the AC, you have to run it for awhile to get it cold again. The alarm clock is from the 1970's, but who uses alarm clocks anymore? The soap and shampoo is god awful, probably worse than dollar store quality. the lights are terrible and VERY old. The desk is RIGHT next to the AC unit. Good luck getting any work done at the desk unless you want to turn off the AC and be burning hot, or endure the frigid blast of the AC every few minutes. The curtains are right above the AC, so if you are working at the desk, the curtains fly in your face. There is no room service or any type of food to order. There are no gas stations nearby that are open late if you want to get snacks. ( there is a gas station right next door, but it closes early) There are no accesible plugs by the bed for your phone, they are behind the bed and impossible to access.

That is pretty much all you need to know. If you are desperate, it is a room, but there are WAY better...

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Extremely disappointed. Booked a room here do the proximity to shoreline amphitheater. Upon arriving room seemed to be in decent shape and was very clean, however room seems to have had some bad renovations or some types of incidents occurred in the room resulting in damage that has been covered up by very bad drywall patch work, and it also has a very musky smell to it but not bad enough to be unbearable. The Jacuzzi tub was supposed to be an upsale for my room but took nearly 45minutes to fill. Upon utilizing the Jacuzzi I attempted to take a shower only to discover the faucet was broken with no way to switch the shower head on. My TV also only gets the over the air channels and anything from cable comes in with extreme static or other issues and I cannot access a channel guide or any pay per view content. The front office had very big sign posted about incidentals so I'm very worried these issues will be blamed on me, so I shot an email off to management prior to writing this review. I will be discussing the issue with a manager tomorrow morning and will update this review accordingly... I'm giving 2 stars due to the price the room was a bargain for its proximity to shoreline but it otherwise unusable in its current state.

Follow up: maintenance was sent at 8:45 this morning they examined the shower and advised they could fix it but needed to go off-site to get a part. They said it would take 20min all and all and guaranteed I would be able to make my meet and greet at shoreline amphitheater by 11AM. I repeatedly advised the receptionist I had someplace I needed to be and was guaranteed they would either fixed the shower or provide me the refund. At 10:50 they had finally fixed the shower effectively making me late for the meet and greet. They ended up refusing to refund my purchase and charged me the incidental for the room being non-functioning. In addition to this they also signed me up for multiple travel service site mailing without my permission in a childish and spiteful manner after an...

The County In isn't great, but it's not terrible. My room was very clean, the room has basics like a fridge and big TV, there's ample parking, the location next to Google Headquarters is great, housekeeping did a great job cleaning up, and the staff was friendly. If you could coax the WiFi to work, it's fast enough to watch Netflix! Some things were annoying, like too much water pressure in the sink, and not enough in the shower. The WiFi was very finicky--it took about 20 seconds before it was usable, so on Android I needed to turn off mobile data just so the phone would wait patiently for WiFi to start working; I mostly just burned through mobile data. I couldn't even get my Kindle Fire to connect. My card seems to have been misprogrammed to expire after a couple days, so I had to go back to get front desk to get it reprogrammed. I couldn't figure out how to get the A/C unit to just run the fan on low all night, so the noise of cars on the freeway made it hard to sleep. All in all, I knew I was getting the cheapest option possible. Unless my budget was very limited, I don't think I...
