New York Nails & Spa — Attraction in Gretna

I’ve been going to Lavish Day Spa in metairie for 7 years and only allow Evan (the owner) to do my nails. I’m VERY particular and not easy to please. My first time coming here I was only going because my work schedule changed and I don’t get off until 6pm so I can’t make it to Lavish in time before closing. This nail salon is only 10 minutes from my work and I was BLOWN AWAY. From the pedicure to the massage chairs, the friendly nail techs, the music is BOMBBB, and then the mani and new set set it OFF because my nails were perfect! That was 6 weeks ago and I just left there today for the 3rd visit. I brought 2 of my employees to get their nails done yesterday and I will continue to refer all of my friends to this...

Very nice atmosphere. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Excellent pedicure. I chose the $40.00 option due to the poor condition of my feet. The hot stones and towels relieved my aching muscle. I’ve been caregiver for a cousin and unable to keep up on my self care. My feet were calloused and had thick cuticles. Almost ashamed to go anywhere. I was also on time crunch. Today was my first day getting a manicure at this shop. I was seated immediately which the lady who did my pedicure was nice. I chose the $55 dollar manicure which is the deluxe. Once I checked out it was $72. I asked why the difference & was told it was because I got gel polish. I was confused because I always get gel polish on my toes & I have NEVER paid $72 dollars for a pedicure. I paid the price & I even tipped but I won’t be going back. It should be specified it’s a different price if gel is applied...
