Detailed Review of just about every single thing (big or small) I could remember from our week stay! The staff were nice and very informative about the amenities available in the hotel. The hotel was clean!! Super clean! The only issue was our toilet was clogged and they were there to fix it very quickly once informed! I was there for work so I was unable to enjoy the breakfast but my husband did many times within the week and said it was decent one day and the next day I remember him trying something different and said it was good. So, it’s preference. The pool (although open, it was October so getting too cool to swim) was small! I was shocked at that. But it was nice. The small gym is to the left as you enter and it looks nice! The breakfast area was huge with TVs and tables. Very quiet in this hotel! The staff has drinks, snacks, and basic things you may forget to bring at the desk to buy! Ice machines are available and I suppose hotels have done away with drink machines (since they’re for sale at the front) because we did not see any. For reference, two twenty-ounce drinks and two packs of small peanut M&M’s cost us $8 at the desk. (Convenience- Uber Eats driver did not deliver our drinks.) The TV had many channels! My husband stayed at the hotel while I worked and he had many things to watch. The showers are nice! Great water pressure and plenty of hot water! There is a dishwasher, a medium-sized fridge, and a freezer, you also have the option to get portable stove eyes from the front desk for free. Also, a microwave. Many plugs to choose from for electronics, a desk and full-size office chair, hangers, an iron & board, a hair dryer, and a complimentary shampoo bottle attached to the shower! The couch can pull out into a bed but we did not use it, but they put extra sheets, a blanket, and a pillow inside of a zipper storage in the cabinet. ⭐️TIP: to change the time on the alarm clock, turn the little screw on the back to the left and the buttons to change the time are inside that little battery door. (It took me forever to realize that it wasn’t actually screwed in to make it unusable 😂) The only issue we had was the staff knocked quickly and just opened our door (for someone else who was apparently looking for another guest. I was not the happiest about the knock and entry right away before a reply but it was fine. First night we had someone who was stomping around but it wasn’t consistent so not a huge deal. Across the board, if I were going to stay in Harvey, LA again, I can without a doubt say that I would stay in this hotel again. I hope my review will help you decide if this hotel would be a great place based on my experience! Thank you Home2 Suites! 💛 I hope you continue to be the difference for the 🌟🌟🌟star hotels out there! You're delivering affordable and clean places for us to lay our heads when away from home!

1st night and disappointed in this “Hilton”. My 2 daughters and I arrived after a VERY long day of travel. The doors were locked with a note to “use your digital key” . However, it didn’t allow me to check in earlier. I knocked because there was someone - Shantrell - about 10 feet away and she clearly could see/hear us. We waited and knocked for ten minutes before finally calling. She answered and I asked if she could open the door. She said “no I can’t just open the door. I told her I had a reservation, she asked for my name and then finally let us in.”. When we finally got in she said “we can’t just let anyone roam the halls”. I said we have a reservation and giant suitcases, you heard us knocking and could have asked us at the door at which time she said well there’s a phone on the wall. I didn’t notice a phone because in the 20 years I’ve been going to Hilton’s not ONE has ever been locked! Ever! The more professional way to handle that would have been to make eye contact and motion for me to use the phone so she could ask whatever question she had. Then, I found out they didn’t have the room I booked. The room I am in has a broken shade. Also, Once inside the hotel there was a sheriff. When I asked what was happening the officer said this is her post! If the door is locked at night and a cop inside, clearly this isn’t a safe area. Between that and the unprofessionalism, I wouldn’t recommend. Happy to revise this review of things change during my stay.

I had to wait easily 15 minutes to be able to enter the hotel to even checking in. They got 2 phones that I was calling from at the entry waiting for someone to open up so ai can check-in. Once inside the lady announced with a paper that they were gonna do a cleaning and that they could come into my room at any time the next 2 days I explained we only stayed one night and wanted privacy. It took a bit of a conversation for her to be like "OK I'll put a note so they don't enter to your room until you check out. A special cleaning of the tiles shouldn't be impose to happen during our stayed that we are paying for and I shouldn't have to beg to have privacy on my hotel room. When I enter they were hairs on the area where the soup was supposed to be at, seems unsanitary. This was not the best experience and will try to not have to stay in this hotel or a franchise with this name anymore.

Don't stay here! This was our 3rd Home2 suites as we travel cross country and it's a poor example in comparison to the others in Roanoje, VA and Chattanooga, TN! The biggest problem was the staff! Not friendly, complaining and the manager was unresponsive. I had asked the front desk on Tuesday to have him to call me but never did. I spoke to the manager, Jose, on our way out this morning and he didnt even want to listen and began making excuses. Then he actually got upset that I told him his staff is an example of management and demanded that I leave. I will stay at another home2 suites but just not this one! Let me add to my review since the manager, Jose Galindo, has replied trying to excuse his and his staff's behavior. He mentions that the pet fee is $75 versus the $25 we paid in a previous Home2 earlier in the week. My problem is the inconsistency between the locations, not the fee itself. I asked the front desk for his number because he was not in, and they female staff member said that she couldn't give it out, so I asked her to have him call me. He never called. We got to the room and wanted to shower but there was no body wash in the shower dispenser. Thank goodness we brought our own. The next morning we went downstairs for breakfast about 945am (15 minutes before they close up) and the kitchen staff was unfriendly. One of them complained that she had to clean the waffle maker again. I guess she thought we didnt hear her grumbling. Maybe she forgot that she's is in the hospitality business. I brought all of these items up to the manager upon check out this morning and instead of listening, he made excuses. I told him that his staff is a reflection of management and he asked me to leave! I think I should be offended because I'm the customer, not him. There's even a sign that says if you're not happy, they'll give us a night free. Maybe they should take...

We booked our stay under the premise that the hotel had a pool. All over the website the amenities list the availability of a pool. The location of the hotel to our destination a long with the fact that they advertise an outdoor pool available. When we get here we are told the outdoor chlorinated pool is closed due to Covid. Funny, the small indoor gym and indoor breakfast buffet area is open... but the outdoor pool is closed. We were told that since we didn’t give a 24 hr notice they will still charge for the night even though we did not stay. We left because the room was rented under false pretenses. A pool was advertised, and listed as an available amenity but closed.... We went into the room. All the dishes were in the dishwasher, they smelled sour. The bathroom shower had a yellow liquid all over the shower floor. The room smelled stale and there was only half a roll of toilet paper and an almost empty paper towel roll. The sign on the wall of your lobby reads that you have a guarantee of cleanliness and guest satisfaction or you will make it right. I would like you to make it right. I would like you to refund me for the night that we didn’t stay, but were charged for. We found another hotel close by for our stay that has an open outdoor pool....Hopefully, the room will be freshened up for the next guest- it was disappointing and not as clean as it should have been. I will never stay at another home 2 suites this was awful service and subpar cleanliness and false...
