Night Owl Cookies — Attraction in Doral

I actually have never had a problem with night owl ever until today April 26th. I placed an order through postmates at 9:25pm. In the app it said it was gonna take 20 minutes for pick up and then I received a text message a couple minutes after ordering saying it was actually going to be 30 minutes.. I get there earlier than the 30 minutes at about 9:45pm. The girl that was working at the register (she didn’t have a name tag and never said her name) didn’t greet me or didn’t even ask if I was here for pickup, she completely ignored me so I approached her and told her I was here for pick up. she asked me if I received the text message saying the order was ready and I told her no and she told me with attitude if you didn’t get the text it’s not ready. So I’m waiting and the people that were in the actual line ordering at the place were getting there cookies super fast. I also noticed the girl at the register was being extremely rude to everyone there and was rolling her eyes at everyone. After I received the text at 9:58pm saying the cookies were ready I told the girl at the register I got the message, she rolled her eyes and said I still have to wait. 5 minutes pass and she goes to the back and brings out cookies but not mine so she asked me if I ordered through Uber eats or postmates, I told her postmates and she told me “well you should’ve told me it was postmates before” what??????? She never even approached me at all when I got to the store I had to go to her and tell her I was there for pick up and she never asked me if I was Uber eats or postmastes. I ended up getting my order at 10:11pm when I placed the order at 9:25pm. I received the cookies COLD. I usually get them really hot, but nope not this time. Hands down the best cookies I've ever tasted. A co-worker of mine bought some and sent me a picture and my almost immediate question was , "where could I find these?" I heard "Night Owl Cookie Co. on 107th and Coral Way". Not even a week had passed that my boyfriend and I were laying awake and we decided we just HAD to go on the mission and try these babies out at about 10 p.m. and let me just say that we were DEFINITELY not the only ones interested! Though the line was HUGE and the place packed with people waiting for their treats, the line to order moved fast and the only wait time after your order is basically waiting for your cookies to bake, which quite frankly does not bother me at all because you really do receive a box full of freshly baked JUST OUT OF THE OVEN cookies because I could barely hold the box from how hot those cookies were! We bought 4 cookies, 2 for each of us. I'm a HUGE foodie and LOVELOVELOVE sweets and let me say 1 cookie is definitely enough, they cost the $2.00 for sure! When we got home and opened that box and grabbed one I realized each cookie had to weigh about 1 pound or two! They were HUGEEEEEE, I was only able to eat one and my boyfriend, whom is not much of a sweets person, though he enjoyed the cookies and agreed with how amazing they were, was only able to finish half of one. These cookies are so good, just the DOUGH itself is amazing, then top it off with the rest of everything they add, it's just a great experience, I personally give them 5 stars hands down, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! The only thing I probably didn't enjoy was the parking, it was very small for the amount of customers there were, but honestly I would not mind parking in the next shopping center and walking over to them at all! I recently had the misfortune of visiting Night Owl Cookies, and the experience left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. The customer service I received was nothing short of abysmal, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others.

From the moment I entered the store, it was evident that the staff lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. The employee (Andrea V) seemed disinterested and unwilling to assist customers.

Me and my friends decided to purchase a milkshake and a sundae to give the store a chance to redeem itself. The sundae was pretty good, but my friend’s milkshake was horrible. The consistency was watery and thin and the flavor was not great. It was not what we was expecting, so my friend POLITELY asked to change it to something else, and she was laughed in her face.

To make matters worse, no effort was made to rectify the situation or apologize. The employees came out from the back one by one with a smirk on each of their faces. They seemed indifferent to their customers' needs without providing even the most basic level of assistance. It is evident that staff training and management oversight are sorely lacking at this establishment.

I strongly advise against visiting Night Owl Cookies. The utter disregard for customers, coupled with the unprofessional attitudes of the staff, made my visit a regrettable experience. I expected a warm and friendly atmosphere, along with quality cookies, but instead, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of customer care.
