Absolutely terrible customer service... My husband and I had the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant when we ate here. My husband ordered something and did not like it. When we told the manager, he said that we could not return it and proceeded to tell my husband to pick out what he didn't like. I have never ever been to a restaurant that made you eat something that you didn't like and didn't replace it for you so you could have an enjoyable experience. He refused to give my husband a new bowl of pho that takes less than a minute to put together. He told us that he would get fired if he got us a new bowl of soup, which I am sure was a lie. He then sent the "owner " to our table who proceeded to tell us the same thing, which was "just pick out what you don't like." When we refused to do that, he then said that he would only bring us new broth and that my husband needed to pick out the meat himself to put in the new broth. When my husband refused to do that ridiculous task, he then said that he would pick out the meat to put in the new broth! Needless to say, he came back with a new bowl of pho with new meat because he realized he didn't want to pick out the meat himself. We asked if he was indeed the owner, and he said no, which means that the other man lied when he said he would send the owner over. Either that or he didn't want to admit to being the owner. At that point, we were too upset to finish eating so we paid and wanted to leave. I can't believe they made us pay for such a terrible experience. The experience got even worse when we went up to pay. The woman at the counter began to ask us about our experience (since obviously she had already been informed of the situation)and then told us that we should've just picked it out ourselves!! I told her that I could not believe she was telling us that again after what we had experienced. She was patronizing us. I am a business owner and know the importance of treating customers with respect. The management here is absolutely...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible customer service. My wife and I liked coming here to eat pho at least once a week until today. I ordered a different bowl then I normally did and it had tripe in it. I didn't like the tripe at all and I called the manager over and I asked him if I could have a different bowl with no tripe. He said he could not give me a new bowl, that all the ingredients are listed on the menu and basically told me it was my fault for ordering it. Then he told me to pick out the tripe from the soup! I was taken aback that he actually told me to pick it out of my food. I told him that it's very hard to pick it all out and that I just wanted a new bowl and he said he can't, that he would get fired by the owner. We were debating with the manager over this for several minutes and we were fed up at this point and we told him we were going to leave and he said we can't leave without paying for the food...that we didn't eat!!! So he won't replace it and we have to pay for it?! This was the worst treatment I've ever experienced at a restaurant. He then called someone from the kitchen to talk to me who offered to give me a new bowl with just broth and that I could pick the meat out of my old bowl and out in the new bowl! I seriously thought I was dreaming hearing this. We told them that this is not how you treat customers, that any restaurant you go to if you don't like what you ordered they would not hesitate to replace it with something else. After we told him we are going to leave a bad review, he came out with a new bowl with no tripe and tried to apologize for the debacle. Too little too late. I don't know who the owner of this place is but if this is what he's instructing his staff to do he's going to continue to lose paying customers and get...
Read moreSo I am on this ramen kick and I am on the hunt to find the best in Miami! This is the second place that I've tried (I just started....it's only been a week) and of the two, this is best so far.
As I am learning it is standard for the ramen to come separate whether it is take out or dine in. At least at this restaurant. Which I love because if I don't eat it all, at least my ramen isn't destroyed from sitting in the broth all day. I got it as take out as I only had a few minutes to spare for lunch. And luckily it's close so it was a quick run.
So at first I was a little skeptical because they give you raw meat depending on what you order. I ordered the #30 which was raw beef, beef brisket and beef flank. But it was then explained to me that it cooks in the broth when you mix it because it's so thin and the broth is so hot! How cool is that?! And it actually did. I'm glad my coworker explained it to me because just from reading the menu you wouldn't gather that. At least I didn't.
You order the noodles in small, medium and large. I myself got medium because I'm a fat azz and I like to eat! Plus I figured it would great to think ahead for dinner. It came with lime (my fav) and a hot sauce (which was delicious). All of this together was absolutely delicious. I am going to try not to eat everyday! One thing that stands out about this place from the other place that I tried, is that there is no trace of sweetness. To me boodles shouldn't be sweet and PHO hit this right on the head!
I am still going to try other places because of course if I am home I am not driving all the way over here. So I must find a decent...
