I purchased a pair of Nike Zoom All Out Flyknit from the NY Ave store for $89.99 but they didn't have the size that I wanted in a different color and the guy told me to go to the National Harbor store. When I get there, I waited in line and then told them I wanted to do a return. The girl was polite but acted like I knew I should've walked in, got what I wanted and and then got in line. Most places I go to I check if it's ok to return, 1. because it's an outlet stores and their return policies sometimes differ and 2. because I didn't buy it from this specific store so I wanted to make sure they weren't going to be bougie and say "Nah, we don't mess with them DC people like that". Anyway, I go get the black on grey Nike Zoom All Out Flyknit and I notice that they are $99.99 but I thought they would just match the price at the other store just miles away. NOPE! She was like "Nah, we don't mess with them DC people like that". Just kidding. But she did say they wouldn't price match that store but they could price match the online price which was $99.99. I had this blank stare. Anyway, I may return them to the DC store and rebuy them. Not because I'm cheap and I want my $10 but because its the principle about it. I was already not happy because they wouldn't apply my 20% to the purchase like my original receipt.
P.S. I wish I could do a product review because the Nike Sock Dart is NOT a...
Read moreI shop rather often and it is always well staffed by numbers. However the women/kids section is the only one where it’s alarmingly difficult to get help. Went in today and had to wave to get a cashier’s attention then watched her tell a manager that we needed help only to continue to be ignored. The manager continued her conversation lounging with another employee behind the register. There was no line and no wait at registers. Needless to say I was about 90 seconds from acting out when the heavens opened and my sister was able to grab an employee from the shoe section. His name was Gio and he went above and beyond to help us. Despite it not being his section, he had to walk over to get help from another employee but came back with answers and recommendations for us. He was amazing. When we went to checkout the aforementioned cashier asked if anyone came over to help and we said no, but we found someone. I also noted to her that I saw her try to get the manager to help to no avail. She seemed appreciative that I wasn’t blaming her and acknowledged that she made an attempt to get us help.
Decent inventory, good staff but seemingly sub par management. Glad the team members didn’t follow suit treating customers with the disregard the manager on duty seemed to.
Cheers to Gio for going above and beyond! Seek him out if you’re there and need help (he’ll likely be in the...
Read moreEverything is well organized here, and the employees know their stuff. The only thing is when I walked in, there were at least five employees standing around doing absolutely nothing, and nobody said anything to me.
Maybe it looks like I have the plague or something, but either way somebody came in behind me and they greeted them but not me I didn't take offense to it I just kept on doing what I was doing.
But when I was looking around in the clothing section, I realized something; they had no plus size in the store. Which makes me very intrigued. How come the only store that carries Nike plus size is Macy's?
I don't know about anybody else but I'd like to try my stuff on before I buy it so I don't have to come back out to the store to return it because it did not fit. When I asked an employee how come they don't have plus size, their response was there isn't enough room in the store.
To me, if Nike wanted that in-store foot traffic to go up a lot more, they would put their plus-size in their store.
I don't know why they call this a Nike outlet. It is not a Nike outlet; it's a regular Nike store that does not take the outlets coupons. Maybe one coupon out of the coupon book, but the coupons that were just mailed to me the 25% off one single item no Footwear store was on that coupon, which made me...
