I recently had a very unsatisfactory experience at Patel Brothers Grocery Store, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. Firstly, I was overcharged for an item, only to discover that it was priced lower on the shelf. This blatant discrepancy between shelf price and checkout price left me feeling cheated and taken advantage of. Furthermore, when I attempted to address the issue with the customer service representative, I was met with indifference and rudeness. Instead of acknowledging their mistake and offering a solution, they dismissed my concerns without so much as an apology. Overall, my visit to Patel Brothers Grocery Store was marred by overpricing, poor customer service, and a lack of accountability. Needless to say, I will not be returning and cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. Paid $40 for a case of mangoes—9 out of 10 were rotten inside. I called the next day with photos, only to be told to speak to the “manager,” Mukund, who was not only dismissive but outright rude and refused any apology or refund. This is the definition of unprofessional and unethical customer service, falling far below even the most basic standards expected in the grocery industry. Their Indian snacks seem to be always stale as well- the expiry label seems to be relabeled to go past the original expiration date. Their vegetable quality has been abysmal too. Thank you, Mukund- this was the last straw. I won’t be returning. LOTTE next door offers the same Indian groceries—without the attitude.

Avoid this place at all costs. They have expired products all over the places and refuse to refund. In the past I have purchased and bought home milk and condensed milk all with expired dates on them. When I went back with receipt for a exchange or refund they refused to do any and accused me saying they don't sell expired products and I must have purchased the products elsewhere. Fast forward to today, I picked up yogurt and voila expired dates!!!! I took a picture of it just to prove my point here. I picked up a more fresh batch and gave the expired product to staff. They didn't care much, no apologies. Today is Feb 21, this yogurt expired Feb 06. A full 15 days later it was still on the shelf! Yuck!

COMPETE RIPOFF! USED/Defective PRODUCT SOLD AS NEW! UNETHICAL MANAGER No social distancing in Covid and no guidelines followed by the store

My wife bought new premier roti maker the other day and the handle broke the very next day the first time we turned it on.It looked like a used one when we open the package. She called the Patel Brothers customer care and spoke to the manager. He doesn't know how to listen to customer grievances in phone, was very unprofessional and told they dont have return policy and come to the store and will see what he can do. Me and wife had to take the kids from day care and went the store. The lady on the billing area told that we already gave you the demo to see if the product turned on When plugged to power while purchasing the product and told no return and no refund. I told them we understand there is no return policy but what if the product is useless in the very first time when you use it. I told her we spoke to the manager in the phone and he asked us to come to the store with the product. The manager came and looked the handle and started saying we over heated it and hence the handle broke. How come we over heat it? All we did was connect the plug to electric socket. Manager then said to talk to premiere customer care, i said why i have to deal with another customer care when i brought it from you. Such a rip-off from the manager. I KEPT the product there and told him to keep it as its useless to me. Never going there again. My wife is stressed whole day due to this. Patel Brothers use to have cultural values now it is...

Patel Brothers, a prominent Indian grocery store, offers a comprehensive selection of daily essentials, ranging from sweets and chips to various flours and traditional clay pots. However, the shopping experience can be challenging, especially on weekends, as the store tends to be congested, noisy, and bustling with activity. Navigating through the crowded aisles might require patience, making it less than ideal for those seeking a relaxed shopping atmosphere.

While Patel Brothers boasts an extensive inventory of Indian products, some customers express concerns about cleanliness when compared to other American grocery stores. The store's hygiene standards may fall short, creating an impression of untidiness for some shoppers. Despite these drawbacks, Patel Brothers remains a go-to destination for those in search of authentic Indian grocery items, acknowledging its role as a hub for diverse and culturally...

This store is terrible! I went in the store (9/14/2024) and was shopping with my grandfather, and we were trying to find tomatoes, and there was a young Hispanic male putting items on the shelf, and he had AirPods on one of his ears, and my grandfather asked "Excuse me, where are the tomatoes?", no response. He asked again, no response. He asked for the third time, again, no response. I was next to him, and I asked the question again, and he responded "Don’t yell at me.", I was shocked at his response, first of all, it shouldn’t have happened if you didn’t have AirPods on your ear, and with a rude answer shows terrible customer service, Patel Bros. should train their employees good manners and should tell their employees not to wear earphones on their ear during work, I’m probably not going back to that store, with that...
