Ashley furniture is the WORST furniture buying experience my husband and I have ever had. We spent nearly 8K on furniture in Nov. of 2022. Putting aside the fact that it took 3 months for our furniture to arrive, when it finally arrived on Feb. 8, 2023. I noticed a manufactures sticker on one of our couches. I peeled it off and there was a huge hole in the couch. I approached the driver who was still in our home, and asked him if he would take that piece of our sectional back and he said that would not be necessary as it would leave our couch missing a piece and instead he would take pictures, which he did, report it and that Ashley’s would be in touch with a replacement piece. Fast forward to later that day, we called our local store let them know what had happened and they explained they could not do anything at the store level but could email the service center. They asked us to email them with photos which we did immediately. After 48 hours we had not heard back so we called again, the store told us they had not heard back and advised they can’t call the service center and only communicate via email. They advised we call the service center. We then called they service center and again explained our story and we’re asked to send photos, which we did. Since that day Feb. 8th we have been on the phone daily with the store and the service center with zero resolution and no responses to our complaints or the fact that we had a couch delivered with a whole. We spent $8K at this store and it offers ZERO customer service, no communication, no managers to speak with and worst of all damaged furniture. What an incredible disappointment for such a large company that claims to produce excellent furniture. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Because if you ever run into an issue you will get no help from your local store and they have no corporate office to assist. An absolute nightmare. They are eager to help you when you come into the store to purchase furniture, but as soon as they have your money, they really do not care about you. I purchased furniture from them back in January 2021 and was told that the furniture would be delivered by the end of March due to the pandemic, March came and went, still no furniture. I had to call them to ask about the furniture, each time I called it was one lie after another. They kept switching the dates back. Finally when it was time for me to be able to get my full refund, the furniture magically appeared and it was ready for delivery, minus one item. So they delivered my furniture, only for it to be damaged. I called the store and spoke with two different people, the first guy I spoke with, act as if he was ready to get off and didn’t really care that my furniture was damaged. He was no helped at all. Then I called the next day, spoke with another person, Alaine, I think that’s how to spell her name, she was very nasty and rude. She acted as if she didn’t care at all about me being upset about my furniture being damaged. I guess being that it wasn’t her furniture, she could care less. When I asked to speak with the manager, she lied and said the manager was not there and said his name was Robert. I asked when would the manager be back in she said Friday. I’m not sure if she gave me the correct manager name but I will be sure to reach back out to them on Friday to see. The only question I asked if they could come and pick up the damaged item, she said that it would be $150.00 charged fee for them to pick up something they damaged, then she got real nasty real quick. I asked for the corporate number and thanked her and ended the call. Unacceptable! I was not going to go back with someone who lacks customer service skills. Read moreVery disappointed in our purchase here. Bought a king size mattress and frame here. Their brand mattress. After being repeatedly upsold by the sales people we managed to convince them to look in our budget. Memory foam, felt fine for the 10 minutes or so we laid on it in the store. More than once we were assured by the sales associate and service people that we could return the mattress after 30 days for a full refund. I took off work for the delivery day. The truck no showed. I got no curtesy call or anything. Just a day of vacation burned. Rescheduled for a Saturday and it got delivered. We slept on the mattress for about 2-3 weeks and found that there was a great deal of sinking sagging into the mattress. Whoever is lighter (we are not especially large people) ends up on a slant towards the smaller person- this is a king size mattress. This mattress is not firm enough for us. I called the store to ask about refunds or exchanges. I was told at first that that shouldn't be a problem. Then when the customer service person got in contact with the regional manager suddenly this mattress wasn't covered for refunds or exchanges. He said we had 3 days to figure out if we wanted it not 30 days. How is it possible to figure out if a mattress is going to work for you in 3 days? We were guaranteed our money back before 30 days. It felt extremely scammish. All we could get was our delivery fee back for the missed delivery, and a $50 dollar (that's right you see it) discount on our purchase.
Ive never dealt with such a shady company before. Buyers beware. I would have been happy to return this mattress for full price and use that towards a different mattress in store. Over all 0/5 starts. Only buy name brand there because this company will straight lie to you and steal your money while telling you there's nothing they can do about it and cant honor the return policy we were...
