Pink & White Nail Spa — Attraction in Port Charlotte

Didn't like how my nails turned out this time around, usually they're very meticulous with doing your nails but this time around at the end the girl rushed my nails to attend another customer that walked out from waiting too long to get her nails done and the girl didn't do my nails properly that they are chipping, colors coming off. She also didn't put enough coats. I'm upset with my experience this time around. Went in today to get them fixed after calling them early morning when they opened and was told to come in the afternoon to get them fixed, why the afternoon, no idea when I could have went in early morning. Got there and was asked "What I wanted". Told her I called to get my nails fixed because the paint started chipping, she said okay then made me sit down and wait for more than half an hour in a regular chair until she moved me to a desk when they told me to come in at 1. She made the girl who did my nails the first time fix them and she just filled the gaps in making my nails extra chunky with product instead of removing and doing that part over because she was being rushed to go attend someone who had an eyelash appointment. While doing so they kept chit chatting back and forth and then told her to leave and attend the customer who had an appointment that she would put the top coat on my nails. While my nails were drying she had the audacity to tell me that "They're trying to fix my nails to be nice because I came too late to fix them" Like, it's been 2 days since you did them and they're coming apart, excuse me? So, while my nails were drying she was rushing me out saying that they should be dry that I can leave. I've been going to this place for a while now and stopped going at least 3 months ago because of personal issues. Now I go back and this is how I'm treated? Never again will I step foot in this place. Your customer service has gone down and your prices have gone up instead, I can see. Maybe match your customer service with those rip off prices that you have instead. It's unfortunate that my go to place turned into this, it's terribly upsetting. If you value your time, money, and dignity then I suggest you go elsewhere...

Horrible experience!

Don’t see Tom (station 1)!

I was excited to try this nail salon given the high ratings, but the whole experience was a let down. I saw Tom (station one)… I had booked a dip manicure and a pedicure. When Tom started the manicure he skipped over the normal stages I commonly receive at other salons (soaking nails, cuticles, clipping, filing, buffing, etc). He did the dip nails and I asked him why he didn’t do any removal of the cuticles, he seemed irritated by the question and plucked a few, but left the majority of the cuticles, making the manicure looking very messy. The biggest disappointment was the fact that when he told me he was finished with the manicure there was an excess amount of left over product (glue and powder all over my fingers, which you can see in the attached photos). In addition, he completely misshaped one of my nails. Considering this was one of the worst manicures that I ever received, I declined the pedicure. A few technicians noticed that I was upset after my service and tried to dig out the glue under my fingernails with their own nail, gross! Finally a third technician came over to me with a tweezer to try and pluck the remaining product out from under my nails. To top it off the $45 dip manicure chipped within 24 hours… what a rip off and poor...

Absolutely 10 out of 10 recommend Pink & White nail spa. They have done awesome pedicures for me with the gel polish staying in tact for weeks. Also had a gel manicure done and it's been great. Linda listened to what I wanted and they turned out fabulous. I was so releived after visiting here since the last time I had a manicure I went to a "fancy" spa in downtown PG (ahem, E'lan spa) and my expensive GEL manicure was chipping AND peeling off WITHIN 8 HOURS of the visit. I hadnt done anything or even left the house before they were ruined. I learned I could go back and get them fixed up to 2 weeks after but for what? To have them come off again in another half of a day...no thank you. I was appalled and nervous to try else where but SO glad I did. I told Linda I work with my hands a lot for my job so I needed gel so it would stay and squared nails and she totally got me. It was fast, easy and I'm happy to say a week later, no chips or peeling etc. ! The prices are good and the quality is great. If you need a mani or pedi this...
