170.86 on October the 13th. That's what it's worth to me to not be a PF customer. If I wasn't a PF customer, I wouldn't be out 170.86 from a charge on October the 13th. I've used Planet Fitness all over the nation. I travel, so It's convenient to have a Black Card and a place to shower, etc. And it's cheaper than a hotel! I was considering using the truck stations, but they're normally more expensive than just having a black card.
That is, until recently. Planet Fitness's own corporate policies are responsible for creating this mess. There are limits suddenly. My wife and I travel together, so we use a black card, and she signs me in as her guest. Two years of this in a dozen different states with no problem, sometimes for a couple months at a time. Suddenly it's a problem, they have a limit of 10 visits for a guest in a month. Ok... so we're in a new area for the forseable future, let's get the card transferred to this club. Oh, they can't do it, we have to negotiate this with our home club. Ok... but the home club won't allow us to negotiate or manage our account until we're there in person, and we can't even cancel it. So we got a new account at a new club where we are now, but forgot to cancel the card we used at the old one. Welp, that's a sudden unexpected 170.86 charge more than two months after we started an account at this PF.
No one can find the charges. We've literally called every planet fitness we have ever used. Apparently the charges came from one that we've either never been to, or that doesn't exist. Who knows. Their billing won't work with us, they hide behind a third party billing system named ABC that isn't worth the effort it took for me to type this. Try getting in touch with them... I'll wait... You won't.
So instead I've had to file an unauthorized charge action with my bank, because this is MOST certainly unauthorized. They're going to give these jerks until Nov the 15th to respond, which is great.
You guys just have the absolute WORST customer service, hands down. A bucket of candy doesn't make anyone forget that.
P.S.: This location is not responsible for the charge, that is the one thing I am certain of. However, Google doesn't allow me to leave highly visible reviews for Planet Fitness as a corporation rather than choosing a location. So, I really have no problem with this location, and if I figure out which location erroneously charged me, I'll be happy to move this...
Read moreI heard about this gym on tik tak and found out about their “black card membership”. Immediately, I was SOLD. I already have a gym membership with Snap Fitness in Happy Valley. However, I am in the process of terminating my membership with them over being harassed in their gym by Lighthouse Fitness Trainers. I came to the gym today and signed up for the “black card membership.” I felt like I had walked into a luxury gym in Las Vegas that’s how impressed I was with this gym! The staff was excellent. Very friendly. Clear communication. In a great mood. They didn’t hit me for all the fee’s up front. I don’t have to pay the annual fee and the membership fee until the 1st of June. No other gym in this area can compete with this gym. It’s over for those other gyms. They can’t compete. When people find out about Planet Fitness, I have a strong intuitive feeling they will do just what I did. Cancel their gym memberships with other gyms and sign up at Planet Fitness. This gym is very very well put together. They know what customers want in a gym experience and their smart about the locations they put their gyms in. The tanning beds, the other high tech lavish machines, the hydro massage machines, the massage chairs are definitely a WIN!!!! The gym is fully operational. Their not playing head games with people and jerking them around opening and closing. I would give this gym 20 Stars if I could. This is a very clean gym. They had a lot of people signing up for membership. The gym was almost at full capacity this afternoon. I am VERY VERY HAPPY!!!!! Come to this gym and ask about the Black Card Membership. Beware of some of the bogus reviewers on here. The lockers cannot be opened by someone unless you clear out your combination after you set the lock. You make your own combination on the lockers and then clear out the dials on the lock. So it’s your own fault if you get your stuff stolen. Read more⚠️ Miserable (BEYOND MISERABLE) Experience today. DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE! This 82 location Employee named Kelli Is racist unethical very very rude and doesn’t respect her customers. Unfortunately she try to over charge me. When I confronted her to ask why. I was told it’s because of my fault or my banks fault. So when I signed up for a membership with Planet Fitness 3 years ago they required you to link your bank account which I did. As for the last 3 years I had walked in and out of this location with no problems. Then today The racist Kelli she Stop me from entering the gym and saying there is a problem with billing. So I spoke with Kelli at the front desk. Explaining to her the situation. She responded with a rude and disrespectful attitude to check my account. Which she did. She responds that I’m not gonna let you Enter to the gym unless you pay for the Late fee.
I try to explain to her but she keeps pointing her finger at me to go out of the gym then I said okay and leave the gym. She try to rob me for Fake “late payments” When I try to speak with the other employee He said it’s my fault or my banks fault. I said to him I’ve gone into the Planet Fitness for 3 years Nothing happened before they’ve been charged me with the same Credit card that I provided when I joined the gym. There is no way I’m late.
