I have been with my nail tech for over a year. The only reason I came to this nail shop is because she has come there. I went on June 4th and was very satisfied with my nail tech's work, as usual. She ended up leaving (it was closing time) and explained payment was different (I used to pay her directly prior to her coming to this nail shop) and would pay at the front. The owner charged me a ridiculous amount of money. I got a refill. A double french manicure. That's it. My nails are long, but I also know my nail tech's prices. I paid, but I was going to contact my tech later. I did, and she explained that the prices were not up to her, but at the discretion of the shop. This makes sense, again, because I no longer paid her directly. I went back to the shop on June 5th to inquire about a price list and ask why I was charged what I was for a refill. No bling, diamonds, extra designs, nothing. Even the woman at the front seemed surprised at what I was charged and double checked to make sure I did not get a full set. I repeated that I got a refill. She then said it is not up to the shop, but up to the tech. At this point, I knew I was being lied to. I know my nail tech's prices. I know what I would have been charged for what I received. I do not appreciate being lied to and I do not appreciate being overcharged. I do not want to leave my nail tech because she is highly skilled and is amazing at what she does, but this nail shop is a scam. It is unfortunate that they would treat customers this way, especially during the kind of times we are in now. If my nail tech stays here for an extended period of time, I will be getting the most basic nails and will be asking for a price prior to her starting to work on me. Read moreThis nail salon is great, just don't go near holidays... I switched salons because they are consistently good, and I love my nails and they last a VERY long time. Just don't go too close to a holiday, they are either packed (as expected) or 'understaffed' as I ran into that issue New Years day. I walked in with my sister, was asked what we would like/wanted, and responded with, full set. The man responded- "We are understaffed, come back tomorrow". That entire thing confused me, especially how he responded... I absolutely love this place but that was a huge turn off for me coming back any time soon. If he said it was going to be a long wait, me and my sister were prepared, I told her it might be, and we were ready to wait because it was gunna be worth the wait! Also, why did he ask what we wanted in the first place too if he was gunna turn us away?? I didnt get that.. We walked in around 4:30ish-pm and hours said close at 7pm..But sadly we were flat out turned away. Maybe we needed an appointment? I dont know, but the guy certainly didnt express that. Read moreThis used to be my go-to nail salon. Last week, I went for my usual, shellac pedicure and full set. I came right when they opened the doors and they began seating people who were arriving after I did while i sat and waited. When i finally got seated for my pedicure, the receptionist asked if i wanted a drink and I said yes may i have water. I never received my water after asking for It twice. The lady who did my pedicure was very nice and attentive. After my pedicure I began getting my nails done and the nail tech was on a phone call the entire time and was rushing my set. When i asked if she can cut my nails shorter, she said “i already cut them short” and continued to complete and rush my set. After my service, I went to the front to pay and i saw that I had been charged for 2 pedicures and 1 full set. and the receptionist was very rude when i brought that to her attention. once she removed It, I paid and ended up leaving with longer nails than I wanted and an overall not-good experience. I have been coming to this salon for almost 2 years and this was my first bad experience. and due to this, I will not be returning.
