Recently dethroned as the busiest cruise port in the world, but still an excellent embarkation choice, offering 100s of different itineraries, on many different cruise ships (16 as of this posting) from a new-record 7 different cruise lines. Easy access from MCO, just a little over 30 minutes away (or a quick Uber from my house 😁). Port Canaveral is also home to The Cove at Port Canaveral, an awesome dining and shopping area, and a great place to watch cruise ships lumber out to sea or SpaceX boosters returning from a launch!

Read moreThis port was very busy.They had four cruise ships there. However they had all the routs marked very well.They also had security officers directing you a key locatons. The parking was very close to my ship. The parking was kinda pricey it cost me 136.00 for a 7 day cruise, but I did like being able walk to the ship. It was only a 5 minute walk.I parked in the parking garage so I felt like my car was safe and protected.There was cheaper parking out of the port, but you had to rely on a shuttle packed with people to get you to and from the ship. I felt safer parking at the port instead of parking in some guys empty lot...
