First, the positive..... I really love the seating although the recliners do not recline as fully as some places they are wide and very comfortable. The aisles between rows of seats are very wide. The sound system is very nice an immersive. There is stadium seating that seems to banana up a little bit near the bottom few rows to give everyone a good viewing angle at the screen.
Unlike big chain theaters, there are no uniforms. Last time there, we breezed right in, using the QR code from Fandango. We didn't stop for any concessions so can't comment on that. All three employees that were seen for over 35 years old. Hollywood was the most economical place to attend the werewolf. There is usually ample parking although there is no adjacent parking lot and parking in street parking. We got a place almost directly in front of the theater.
Unlike Big-chain theaters there were no uniforms worn buy employees and when the movie was over they wanted us to get out immediately. Meeting with a couple of friends, we're used to sitting in the theater for a little bit and discussing the movie while while employees may come in and clean up etc. This was however the last show but it was still only 9:30 p.m., but just a few moments after the credits ended they turned the lights and electricity off in the theater and we were in the dark completely with even the power to the reclining seats shut off. That was a new experience. I think that was a nonverbal message to get the heck out. Perhaps they did not actually realize my group of three out of four total people in the theater hadn't actually left yet. Either way, message received and I will remember. A few minutes after we were out of the front doors, so was the gentleman who scan the QR code and the lights were off and the doors were locked.
All in all a good movie experience in a very clean theater (somewhat subpar movie...
Read moreTerrible service! We could not bring in our drink, rude lady with red hair and inappropriate work outfit, rude desk worker who said we couldn’t watch the movie because we were 10 minutes late, and at that point the ads are probably still going and if its about the ads i’m not gonna be seeing them anyways now that we had to leave. The interruption is no different than if we were to use the bathroom and still, the movie probably wasn’t even started yet. They said we couldn’t bring in our drinks but like we already bought them and if it’s because they want us to buy their drinks, we weren’t going to anyways but we were gonna get popcorn so if anything they’re losing money. Then when we asked about another movie he told us no because it was rated R and we had to have an adult with us even tho literally no one cares. At any other theatre I would not have this issue. I’ve been places before that let me bring in other food/drinks, they don’t care if we’re a little bit late, and they are a lot nicer. This was not a friendly place and i will not be returning. Great job guys! You just lost a local customer who could be a frequent visitor. Good luck trying to stay in business when your workers are bad, like you literally work at a movie theater why do you care so much about you’re job. They weren’t even young, how low life and sad are...
Read moreMost affordable in the area but the service is not convenient or supportive to anyone not local. We had a unique experience where the transformer in the area blew so we were given “rain checks”. Getting those rain checks fulfilled was painful and frustrating. While you can pay for initial tickets online, to get rain checks fulfilled they do not open before 1830, and will not accept any reservations on the phone. As someone in a full time job and 20 minutes away, it was nearly impossible to make time to get there. The lack of understanding from the staff after two visits was frustrating and we ended up being separated seating after finally getting seats. Overall it’s an old theater, so the screen is small, and some lights flicker during the movie. It’s affordable, but be ready for lack of flexibility/favoring to a more...
