The workers were very helpful for what needed, concessions, directions, getting refills . When it was time for the movie to start nothing, all the commercials played the a blank screen. Someone had to go out to ask an attendant, it turns out they knew about that issue (you find the same mentioned in another review) so 10 minutes later the previews start, then the movie. A few minutes into the movie it was obvious that something about the picture was off , like it was a little out of focus but not quite. It turns out it's that the color beams were out of alignment on the projector. Well, it turns out they were aware of that also, but couldn't do anything about it and say that the projector was definitely in focus but they were sorry. (You can find another review about this issue ) We were in theater #3 , if they knew about this , and I had been informed when we purchased tickets I would have declined. By the end of the movie I had a headache and it got worse with the credits. The movie can be watched but this is an issue they've known about and should have rectified. Or at least tell customers upfront so they can decide, or offer a discount for that theater. I don't know if this problem exists on any of the other screens. Its a nice place...
Read moreJust take the longer drive to Cumming or Lawrenceville and go to AMC. They are on a completely different level than Regal. My husband and I went to see Wicked at this theater and we were so disappointed. We noticed during the trailers something was off with the brightness. Before the movie started I went to inform the concession/ticket guy something was wrong. He said he would get someone up there to check it out. Nothing ever changed. We didn’t want to get back up and miss any of the movie we paid for, so we sucked it up. We should not have had to do that. We sat and watched a movie that was supposed to be colorful, bright and vibrant at half the brightness. It was like turning the brightness down on your phone while you’re sitting outside on a sunny day. You couldn’t see it well at all. And the darker parts of the movie, forget it. It was like watching that one episode of Game of Thrones (IYKYK). I guess taking care of your patrons is a thing of the past. “We already have your money so screw you” mentality. Sad. We won’t be coming back to this theater chain...
Read moreScreen was very blurry the whole entire movie and lights on the wall were flickering most of the time. The picture was almost as bad as trying to watch a 3D movie without the glasses. Customer service was not helpful and only response was, “to get a refund you must leave 20 minutes before the movie starts”. The issue was with the projection itself. The screen remained blurry for the entire film, which is not the viewing experience that was advertised or expected. I stayed for the movie, 1. Because I didn’t want to waste my money not knowing if I would get a refund, 2. I stayed in good faith hoping that an employee would fix the screen during the movie with multiple people complaining before and during the movie. Not sure why I thought an employee would fix it when I only saw one employee there and he was working the concessions. Not even an employee checking tickets. Guess you don’t have to worry about people sneaking in when the screens are so blurry that watching recordings off someone’s phone on the internet...
