I have visited this Burger King location numerous times in the past 20 some odd years. Until today I have not had a significant issue. For the most part everyone has been nice, pleasant, and efficient. Today I had two grandchildren with me as we went through the Drive Thru. I was ordering them a snack. I asked the price of a medium fry and I was told it was $2.?? so I decided to go with your Dollar menu and verified the price of a small fry to be a dollar and small hamburger to also be a dollar. I ordered 6 small fries and 3 small hamburgers, which should be $9. plus tax. I was told my total was over $14.00 and I said excuse me. I was told to drive up to the second window. The girl at the window asked for the $14.??, and I asked her what she had as my order. She told me 6 fries & 6 burgers. I said it was 3 burgers & 6 fries. So thinking my order was around $9.70 I had a ten dollar bill in my hand so I handed it to her.I was handed a bag with my food and the window closed. So I sat for a minute waiting for my change . I had to motion for the girl back . I said I gave you a $10 and she said "Oh the fries are actually $1.19" I said oh ok and asked for my receipt,.I was told it didn't print off. So the girl at the window & another woman, which was in manager uniform started working with the register & the window closed. I turned to get more money and to add up an exact amount since she didn't tell me. The window was closed but I could hear her tell someone "she's out here adding up everything". I turned toward the window again and she and the other woman are standing there. I said since the fries were more, then I owe you money. The girl shook her head no and said that's ok., so I said "Thank you' and turned to put my money away, and then I hear one of them say " JUST GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE" upon hearing this I turned back around upset over what I just heard one of the females say.. Keep in mind I have my 4yr old & 9yr old grandchildren in the car with me. I motioned the girl to open the window & she did. I ask who said that? She said no one said anything. I said yes they did . Who said it? She said she didn't. I said who did? She just shook her head no. I said I want to speak to the manager & she called for her , which was the same woman that was at the window previously named Sheila". I asked her who just said that remark and she said: " I apologize". But she also has a condescending smirk on her face. I said that was not right for that to be said especially with me having small children in the car. Sheila said that the girl was just trying to get her drive thru time in. I said ok but that still is not good customer service. At this time a guy comes to the window and said Sheila I need you the broiler is on fire". I just said go put your broiler out. My opinion it was staged to get her away from talking to me. Needless to say I am still upset !!! I'm usually a polite person anyway, everyone has a bad day. Today must have been Sheila's. But I kept my cool on my grandchildren's behalf. I just think it such bad taste for a Manager to act as such. Also, I will be letting everyone know how I was treated at this Burger King restaurant. My rating of these two employee's behavior from 1 - 10 would be "0". Food rating would be a '6', fries were cooled...
Read moreThis is not your typical Burger King experience, it was obvious from the moment I stepped inside the door that Burger King is working to step up their game. The location is large, bright and clean unlike most the established Burger King locations. Starting with the bathrooms, I walked in to wash my hands before ordering and was pleasantly surprised. Large bathroom that was clean and debris free, well stocked with soap and a hand dryer that was in working order. The bathroom also smelled clean.
The counter space is large and uncramped, bright colors and clean. My order was taken promptly by a helpful and friendly cashier. I filled my drink as I waited and fund a table. The table was clean and neat in the dining room surrounded by several other people dining. I chose the unsweet tea, it was very light and virtually tasteless with no tea flavor at all. The ketchup dispenser in the drink area were both empty and no packets were available.
When you order they ask your name, however, my name was not ever called and I watched a tray placed on the counter by a lady. I asked if this was my order and she had no idea nor any desire to find out so I took the tray and proceeded to my table.
My Fries were served hot and were tasty and cooked perfectly. I also ordered the Sourdough King, At a meal price of $8.98 my expectations were set. It is a large sandwich with a large portion. The sandwich was very dry, there was some of the "signature special sauce" but it was extremely light. The sourdough bun was fresh and soft but also very dry.
I have given this Burger King a Three-star rating due to the quality of the beverage which I found to be watered down, the lack of available condiments, the taste, quality of the sandwich, and at a cost of $8.98 I can get much better at many other local...
Read moreI had a really disappointing experience at Burger King recently, and the worst part wasn’t even the food—it was how the worker treated me. When I asked a simple question about the menu, the cashier rolled her eyes and gave me a sarcastic response like I was wasting her time. She spoke to me in a rude, clipped tone the entire time, and when I politely asked if I could make a small change to my order, she sighed loudly and muttered something under her breath. It honestly made me feel uncomfortable, like I was an inconvenience just for being there.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t do much to redeem the visit either. My burger was thrown together messily with barely any of the toppings I asked for, and the fries were cold and stale. The whole atmosphere in the restaurant felt off—tables were dirty, and trash was left sitting out. I understand that working in fast food can be tough, but there’s no reason to treat customers like a burden. I left feeling frustrated and unwelcome, and I won’t be going back...
