Rosemead Park — Attraction in Rosemead

I can't even begin to figure out where to start with this beautiful park. I've been coming to rosemead park since I was a baby and had most of my childhood memories with my family and friends made in this very park. As I've grown up and watched rosemead park blossom to her huge newly retrofitting and just even more family friendly just makes me overjoyed that I now get to make these memories with my son and watch him play on the playgrounds. But if your like me and my brothers growing up the basketball 🏀🏀🏀 courts are sweet they are clean and nicely remodeled with great LED lighting which stay on throughout the night. They also have a nice job/walking working track that follows along the outter parts of the beautiful shady park and then cuts through by the baseball/soccer field to a workout area with different workout stations available for use. As you continue to walk past those stations you come up to the small hill at the park which has a newly added feature which I wish we would of had when I was a kid because it would of saved me and my bros a lot time running from security guards everywhere for no skating boarding lol 😂😝 but I'm happy to see we have a very nice gated skate park. And then my favorite part of the remodel without a doubt is our long waited remodel and I'd say major glow up aquatic center. The pool is so clean and the shaded area over the kiddie pool is amazing but the splash pad ad on is the icing on the cake for my kiddo. Skate Park is cool. Too many people be at this park though. Definitely be ready to share the space. Too many people on the basketball courts at times too. Depending on where you park your car, it can be a hassle finding a spot to begin with. It's clean. The restroom is clean but had no toilet paper! Plus, restrooms are locked around 8pm. After that good luck if you have to pee. The high school is right there too. its literally right nextdoor. So, around the time the school lets out is when traffic seems to pile sky high, plus all the kids crossing the streets and walking on the sidewalks, got to pay attention bcuz sometimes kids be walking and talking and running without thinking much of it, just got to be extra aware of your surroundings. The built-in walking trail Always has 1,000,000 people using it. People walking theirs pets too and people with strollers or wagons be on there too.but, It's a huge park, with a soccer field and a baseball field, a skate Park and swimming pool. 3 jungle gyms for the kids to enjoy, two or the 3 playgrounds have sand, yes sand! I don't like the sand, my kids toss it up in the air by the fistfuls and also at each other! I limit our visits to this park bcuz of the sand. The ice cream truck is usually parked somewhere nearby...

The park is always alive with activity. There is always so much going on.

The swimming pool serves as the practice center for Rosemead High school and is always packed and busy during the summer. The basketball courts are always busy year-round, and even late into the night. There is a walkway that surrounds and cuts through the park that serves as the main source of exercise for most of the inhabitants of the community surrounding the park.

There are also numerous amounts of exercise machines that are scattered throughout the park, right next to the walk way. There is a playground on top of a hill that serves for entertainment for the children. There is a field with a baseball diamond that allows for recreational baseball, like little league or adult leagues.

Overall, this park is a staple to this community and serves as a symbol of recreation and activity for everyone that takes advantage of it. It has been a part of this community for generations and helps to bring us together. A park serves as the cornerstone of communion, camaraderie, and entertainment, and this park...
