So I’m a loyalist. I’ve had the same nail tech since moving to the Atl area 3yrs ago! W/ the social unrest of 2020 I did a lot of soul searching & decided I must be more committed to promoting and patronizing Ujamaa (cooperative economics) w/n my African American community that has nurtured me my entire life! With that being said it was difficult for me to leave my non AA manicurist in search of a sista or brotha who could maintain my nails w/ the level of care that I’m accustomed to. I found that in Shara. Her professionalism is bar none‼️ I received a consultation call upon booking my services where Shara verified my selections. When I arrived her salon was clean/sanitized and welcoming. Shara herself is a Queen! She is a communicator and an educator; she actually cares about your nail health. Where do I start??? This was my first time booking with Shara. I was looking for someone knowledgeable, attentive, meticulous and pleasant. I found all of that and more in Shara. She was very professional and also clean; sanitizing before and after clients. She was very attentive when doing my nails. She started by educating me on all the different types of products, then made a recommendation based on insightful questions she asked me. As she worked on my nails she told me everything she was going to do before she did it and explained why she was doing it. She was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to. My nails already had an overlay from another salon that Shara removed with care and patience. She paid close attention to my nail beds and tended to any dead skin and hardened cuticles without pain.
