Ok firstly might i say i love spotlight cinema. The price of the tickets, food as well as seating is great, and I never have any issues until today.. My daughter and I came to a 4:30 show and the experience was very disappointing.. My daughter and I walk up to the booth no one there. I saw employees inside but no one came out as courtesy and lets us know to purchase tickets inside.. They stood inside talking to like what seem like friends while my daughter and I stood outside.. When I opened the door and asked where do purchase tickets than they finally told me inside.. we came inside the young lady at the register showed no customer service at all.. Did not greet us smile no kind of welcome she leaned on the register her hand on her face like we were a bother or she did not want to be there.. After we purchased our ticket and food i saw the manager and told him how his staff was unprofessional. He asked well did she say anything. I told him it was just her demeanor her poor professionalism. He did apologize but it did not seem sincere.. My advice would be to train your employees about customer service. Treat people how they or they would want their family to be treated going into a business.. Overall i love it and yes I will continue...
Read moreThis is my favorite theater in Columbia! It’s the only I go to that this point for so many reasons.
You will not be these prices. Tickets start at $8 and I think go up to $10. And they have all of the same new movies as other theaters.
It’s super clean, I’ve never even seen a piece of popcorn on the floor. They also have a good temperature set too so you don’t freeze half to death.
It’s never too crowded. It’s been multiple times when I’ve have the entire theater to myself. I feel like this is a secret spot sometimes. I love that the masses don’t ruin the experience here but I definitely want them to stay open lol so definitely support them!
The concessions are very well priced. You can get some popcorn a drink and some candy for $10-$14 at the most.
Very comfortable seating and it’s not reserved so you can move to any seat like in the old days. Please the arms let out so you can stretch out if you want!
Very friendly staff. Nice to talk to and very welcoming.
Overall I have never had a bad experience here. Like I said, it had been my favorite for a while now and I think it’s gonna...
Read moreI like to review places in Columbia to be informative. So boom, nice theater. However.. it took 35 minutes for us to get our snacks. Insane! Some people had to wait longer. It’s very chaotic in that area. The workers work SLOW! It kinda irritated us and other guest. My husband saw Mario brothers… I, The little Mermaid. The theater for me was very small and the seats were pretty comfortable. However my husband said his theater was not “ up to par”. At the end of the showing the bathrooms for the females were nasty. The place where women place their things during their time of the month was overflowing and left a horrible smell. This could be an awesome theater and it wasn’t too bad so yes we will return! Also the price...
