Would leave zero stars if I could! My friend and I visited this spot. We got there and was told we could not enter due to the age limit being 30+, which is understandable. (we’re both 25) So we asked if it was okay for us to order food & he proceeded to tell us yes. He escorted us to a table and said someone would be with us. After 20 minutes of waiting, no one ever came to our table. We decided to go ahead and book an uber to leave. So an older guy sitting behind us at the door with wristbands literally gave us his name & said to us that we could go in to the bar and order since no one came to assist us. So we walked straight to the bar to only get a drink that we were going to take back to our table, while we waited on our uber. Within 5 minutes of standing at the bar waiting for our drinks, the guy from outside came in yelling, being extremely disrespectful demanding us to go back to the table because we were underage. We explained to him that we only went to order at the bar because no one ever came to our table & we were instructed to. The older guy even explained to him that he told us it was okay for us to go to the bar and order. He disregarded all of that & claimed that the older guy wasnt even a worker (yet he was at the door with wrist bands). Also, how tf are we supposed to know who works there and who doesn’t? Like I guarantee we did not want to be in there. They were worried about us being in there but yet had an immature old man inside pretending to work there….At that point we just waited outside for our uber. Honestly, we really just wanted to try the food because our uber driver had already warned us that the place was overhyped. Had I drove, we definitely would not have even stayed at all due to it being a very old environment and very unprofessional. Let me not mention the music…. Overall, they are obviously very unorganized. The situation could have definitely been handled appropriately, in a professional manner. Especially since we had no bad intentions but im just glad we did not spend any...

Very disappointed in my experience here. I cannot speak on the atmosphere, however, the parking lot is very small with limited spots. I placed an online order to find out that 1. The online system was not working (although it took my money) and 2. One of the items I purchased was not available. So when I got there and waited, of course the food was not ready when I went inside and I had to receive a partial refund. This was okay because I know the establishment is relatively new.

My gripe comes in when one of the employees told me to move my car from our makeshift parking spot, due to there being no available parking. It is understandable that the parking spot that we made was not the best, however, people could still go around. Additionally, there was a SINGLE parking spot in front of the building with a cone in the middle, which I noticed from the beginning when the guy said our parking spot was not ideal. He did let us sit initially, as we told him we were picking up an order and there was no parking. As a customer picking up an order, I’m thoroughly confused as to why we weren’t given that parking spot in the front from the beginning especially when it was pouring down raining/lightning/thundering. When we were told to move our vehicle the second time, this was after we re-placed the order and would have to wait another 20-30 minutes for food. At this point, the cone should have been moved! It wasn’t until I got out of the car and walked in the rain to say something, that the cone was moved and we were allowed to go in this parking spot.

The owner was very apologetic and sincere with his response, and offered us free drinks, which I do greatly appreciate.. however, I was not happy with the gentleman outside that was very demanding and seemingly saying we were causing issues, when we were being inconvenienced the most. I do hope and believe this issue will get better, however, I will not be returning. The food was great but not worth the havoc...

ENVEE Restaurant and Bar. A new establishment at 7201 Parklane Bld in Columbia, SC. This is a nice place for adults 30 years and older. Opens 7 days a week with a happy.hour at 4:30 - 7:30 and specials to include steak night, pasta, karaoke night, jazz, Chicago Steppin classes, Day Parties, live bands, a DJ spot, a Chief on duty, pool tables, a large TV for sports enthusiasts and a fully stacked bar and a dance floor for all styles. We had our company holiday party last night and I included some of the pics from the happy hour. On this day, we listened to 70"s and 80's classics. There was another private booking since the place did not close until 2am. Our party ate salmon, fried chicken, chops, fried and grilled shrimp, collards, mac n cheese, fries, and mashed potatoes and teas. Also, the specially prepared steak was large and delicious. (tasty & tender) All of the food was tasty and hot. Excellent customer service, and the owner checked to ensure we were satisfied. Yes, I recommend and will return. Ample lighted parking spaces in front of the building and security. Casual dressing and a spacious venue. Sunday nights live bands performing. Most of the time, it is free admission to hear these performances of the local artist. However, on Father's Day 2024, the special jazz guest was Alex Bugnon.
