The good, the bad, and the ugly. I promised to leave a review. Saying: I’m so happy to have my Garmin GPS working again. I have dozens of locations saved from all over Florida including good hotels that we can go back to any time my wife and I return to former vacation spots.
That said, there was no one in the store (customers) when I walked in at 18557 west Dixie Highway in North Miami Beach, Florida. After a short discussion I went out to my vehicle to get my non-functional Garmin GPS. In the 90 seconds that it took me to grab my Garmin a group of three people walked into the store and the clerk chose to devote all his attention to them and I had to wait even though I was there before them and was already being served beforehand.
I was tempted to leave due to the unfair treatment I was receiving but I needed my Garmin to work so I suffered the injustice.
Three things I needed to be repaired on my Garmin. -Battery, -Outlet where the cord plugs in was broken, -and the GPS was not finding the satellite.
I received a timely call a few days later and the estimate was $150 plus tax. I gave the go-ahead and agreed. In a few days the order was ready. A new battery was not installed. They got the outlet repaired and the GPS was also finding the satellite with no problem. The GPS had also been cleaned. The screen was spotless. The battery however, was not done.
Hence I felt shortchanged and cheated. The battery was supposed to be a part of the estimate I had been quoted for. I am however, very happy that my GPS works.

I had my phone repaired around 3-4times. After each repair, the screen would start to come off a little (something that never occured before I had came here). After each repair and yes even with a screen protector the screen would come part easily or shatter easier than before. I should have came earlier to tell them about the phone falling off but thought it wouldn't get worse so I didn't want to give away my phone unnecessarily when I needed it for school and work.
Also I'm not sure how much in control the time of the repair and ordering a part is in their hands, but they do tend to take longer than what they'd initially state. Obviously some matters they cannot control with delivery but I hope they do not overestimate the speed of the repair in the future to other clients. I would plan to get my phone the day they said it would be ready and end up having to ace a delay.
