Very depressing update. The Source has changed big time and is they are very negative changes. Still, I kept coming. As of Sunday, May 18, I will never give them one more penny.
I placed an online order for curbside pickup. I called the store to make sure that it was okay that I came in for pickup and a woman said sure just be patient because we don't have a lot of employees right now. I said sure, no problem, I'm in no rush.
I pulled up in my car. A security guard came to my car, motioned for me to roll down my window, and told me that curbside pickup was closed. I explained to him that I just called and spoke to a woman who said it was fine. He then repeated, louder, curbside pickup is closed. He was getting rude and trying to act intimidating and aggressive (which is hilarious, as I'm a 5'2" senior woman). I tried to explain that I'm disabled and was just trying to pick up an order that has been paid for and validated by phone. He wouldn't even listen, just walked away.
I got out of my car with some difficulty, went inside, and closed my account, making it known why I was no longer going to be a customer. I've been going since 2018 and it was like a family atmosphere. No more. Cold employees who lie, unnecessarily aggressive security, and no curbside pickup and no delivery. Quality is all over the place and so are the prices. This makes a huge difference for those of us who are disabled.
Update 2: still going to the source and still enjoying the people and the product. Thanks guys
Update! 6 years and still going strong at The Source. I really enjoy the product and the people. Will continue to be my home dispensary ❤️
Been going for 4+ years and have enjoyed the products, the deals, the reward program, and best of all: the bud tenders and delivery people! Thank you Source for being my home...
Read moreUsed to go here a lot and decided to come in today after seeing a great deal. Got there a few minutes after open and there was only 1 person helping in-store shopping and 1 person for pickup/mobile.
There was a line, but I waited patiently as the budtender helped those in front of me. About 15 minutes of waiting a few people come in, hop in line, and then get out of line. Turns out they were placing mobile orders while in line, then cutting everyone by going into mobile despite pickup asking for 15-25 minutes to prepare your order.
All of a sudden the other people waiting and I are cut by these people who placed an order in the line, hopped out, and then switched lines. Not only is this immensely frustrating to see happen and allowed, but then these people were completely changing their orders, so it was no different than had they literally walked in front of me and just went next.
Completely defeated the purpose of mobile if you can just place it whenever, come in without it being ready, and then just place a new order to skip the wait.
This upset not just me but everyone who had been waiting, so people called it out only to be told “that’s how it works! Mobile first and then you guys. Just me up here so that’s how it is”
Which just added insult to injury. There’s a designated person up front who had been helping those orders, and now because people came in and didn’t want to wait, they can just place one and switch lines without waiting on either?
If that’s how the system really works, then going forward I’ll join in on the trick of placing an order online and just coming in asap despite the wait, but that really seemed unfair to everyone who was waiting AND those with actual pickup orders who were held up by people with “pickup” orders that were not ready or what the...
Read moreThis incident occurred at the Rainbow location. I was a regular customer and mostly pickup in my car. This time I scheduled my order to be picked up inside with plans on buying even more. What I ordered online for p/u wasn't available, and I was told it's a glitch in there system. I asked to speak to the manager to maybe get a free pre roll, couple buyer points, something for there error and my wasted time. A Trans guy approached and said there wasn't anything he could offer, and then proceeded to show me some cheapo weed on sale. I calmly said not interested and began walking out. As I did I saw a reflection of him mocking me for no reason, skipping like a child and sticking his hands out and shaking. Im a disabled Vet and hand tremors is one of my issues; I'm also in my sixties and me and my wife have spent thousands at this location. This incident happen a few months ago but it still irked me, but became a blessing in disguise. As I searched for a better dispensary I ran across an article about the 2018 Hemp bill that changed the game for us. I discovered that I can purchase my meds legally online directly from cannabis farms at a huge savings, and I've not been back since. Thanks Mr trans manager at the Rainbow location, and by the way, your are the Last person that should be making fun of people! And I doubt corporate would...
