Love this place so much because the owner is very upbeat very friendly and welcoming, all the staff there are very playful, bright smiles, and friendly, great service, and during all their events, you definitely get what you pay for you get a lot of snacks food and itâs a very very clean indoor playground compared to a few other ones I had attended in the past
Unfortunately⌠my most recent visit at the St. Patrickâs Day event was not as welcoming, one of the employees, She keeps a very low-cut hairstyle, and typically dyes her hair in the middle, acted as if she did not want to help me with the gadgets, I was very friendly and bubbly and excited, because Iâve always loved doing fun things with my kids and getting them out to do fun things as much as possible while theyâre young because itâs important to have that family fun time, The employee seem very annoyed with me for no apparent reason, I had only seen her once before, and I thought she was very bubbly and friendly, I thought maybe she was having a bad day until other parents of the same color came in and she was very bubbly and kind to them!, I was in shock because I never had a bad experience at Pottsville indoor playground, until Now đ,
She even showed them how to Use the items on the table, I felt very uncomfortable. I decided to do crafts for a couple minutes and then head upstairs cause I realized sheâs trying to signify that she just doesnât like me, when I went to inform one of the other male employees he stated to me he will talk to her with a smile, and he was very short, and I understood they were very busy so , SO I went to share I believe to be the âOwnerâ Who again has always been friendly up until my recent experience. She went to ask my son, if he wanted a tattoo 2x times), Because Iâve been there enough times, I decided to share that my son had a disability, she spoke over and then replied â your son like a St. Patrickâs Day tattooâ, Then walked off abruptly She didnât care, nor was she interested in hearing about my son disability. The facility itself is a great place to take children and knowing that they block off specific areas for age groups, infant through 8yld, his key and thatâs very important so the little ones donât get hurt, very clean environment, I just really want to go back and feel comfortable because I know that I have had great experiences in the past. But I donât feel comfortable coming back if everyoneâs...
Read moreRight from the first step in, I was very pleased with the front desk person. Iâm guessing she was the owner. Very pleasant and helped me out as it was my first time. It is a bit smaller than some other places weâve been to, however, I liked that I could watch one in the sand box and still see my other older child in the maze. Speaking of the sandbox, the sand looked new and was so clean. All the toys looked like they were in good condition, no rips and tears-everything was in good condition. The thing that I really like is the cleanliness of the whole place, they even came out on the floor during the morning a few times and were sanitizing. You could tell this was a common practice and not just an after thought. The bathrooms were clean and I like that they had a urinal as well (I know that sounds dumb) but when you have two children, different genders both having to go at the same time-it works! I also liked that you are able to bring a âsimpleâ brown bag lunch if you choose AND they had a variety of snacks that were not just candy and junk. You could add it as an addition to your lunch and they didnât force you or push you to purchase. The pricing of the toys, snacks, etc was not breaking of the bank. Each one of my littles got something and it was under $20 with go-go squeezes. The only thing (and it would not make me not want to go back) but itâs with many of these places-I wish they had a better tracking system/security for children and parents. As a nanny and educator, itâs a shame we have to think this way but in this day and age, there are predators out to take children. Having children and parents wear corresponding bracelets that you scan and would alert if a child walks through the gate alone or with the wrong person just would put a mind at ease. Even just a more secure gate coming in and out of the play area to the common area by the front door. The only other thing I would say is the sand box area has another door that CANâT be accessed from outside or inside but is close to the curved road and it would be advantageous to have concrete barriers in front of those door on the outside in case a car goes rogue and runs into it. (I donât know if thatâs something the owners can look into but would be something to invest in). I was very happy with the place and told them we would be back throughout the summer. Our drive to the place was 54 minutes....
Read moreWe booked a party for our first experience at Totsville and I loved it! You are given two hours (1st hour in playground and 2nd hour in party room). Everything was organized well. I didnât have to worry about clean up or transitioning kids or anything extra. I was able to actually be present and enjoy the moment with my family. The kids had so much fun. I wish I would have discovered this place when we moved here. Our hostess was Jailyn (I believe) and she did an amazing job and kept checking in to see if we needed anything. She helped to pack everything up at the end and handled everything in the party room. I booked the sand art and balloon animal crafts and ordered pizza. Although the pizza price was a bit high, they were large slices . I think 1.5 boxes fed 15 kids. My only complaint is that the time should be adjusted for the second hour in the party room especially for those who book the Sand art and balloon activities. It should be increased to at least 2.5-3 hours. Kids naturally are slow eaters and I felt we had to rush them to eat. (Huge choking risk). Not only that, but I felt we had to rush to get down to the basement, pass out pizza, rush through the activities and with singing happy birthday/cutting and eating the cake. I was told we were only allowed 10 mins past the second hour to leave the party area before we were charged and it just felt chaotic and felt like poor quality and a money grab (probably to prep for another party). As a mom of three kids who may have to potty or whatever the case may be, this was a bit much. And as we were leaving, we heard the staff on the walkie talkies discussing our departure from the party area which also made us feel rushed even more. I would only recommend this place for a party if you only want to eat and sing happy birthday, but not for anything additional ( booking balloons or sand art). Outside of that, I was happy with the experience and glad they offered the decor, food, fun , and activities. Wouldâve definitely been a 5 star review if we were allotted more time especially with the booking of...
