EDIT: They need to make sure their info is correct - I made a detour today to get a pho as it said on Google that they open at 11....when I got there about 11:10, nobody was answering the phone and door was locked....a woman finally came to the door and said several times that they open at 11:20, which I thought was a weird time and after asking her specifically "are you sure you mean 1120 and not 1130?" She said 1130.....Not great communication and they need to make sure their info is correct online! Disappointed, went to Red Boat around the corner instead.........Would have given 3.5 stars if possible, as the food was actually really tasty - had the No. 2 Pho and the grilled pork on rice. The main reason for giving only 3 stars is the pricing! Paying almost 17 bucks for two lunches (where there is a plethora of places where you can get a lunch special for 5 bucks) is way too high, especially considering that they don't give you anything with it - no spring roll, no drink, nothing. And even worse than that - the portions are very small for that kind of money! I don't mind smaller portions in general, but the price has to reflect the portion size, which is not the case here. Most of my $5 lunch specials are actually two meals for me, this one not so much...It's a shame as the food was very tasty indeed, and I did love the fact that the broth for the Pho wasn't as overspiced as they sometimes are - in some places, I feel like drinking a liquid Christmas cookie or something because there is so much cinnamon or whatever goes in it! The meat was ok, have had tastier, and again a minuscule portion!! I literally had about three times as much the last time I got a pho (at Life Pho in Severna Park). I'd love to get food there more often, but they need to lower...
Read moreWe have been coming here for almost 10 years, sometimes every week for a month, and have gone through a few managements. But we always get kind service.
We started coming with one baby and that can be messy. I tried to clean up after her, like a decent human being, and have never been shunned for bringing her. She's almost 10 now, such a picky eater, but she begs to go here every Sunday (it's on our way home from church). Once, she spilled a bowl, and I rushed her to the bathroom in case of a burn (whew, none) and when I came back, it had all been cleaned up. They kindly accepted her apologies, and free of charge, got her a new bowl.
Both of my kids love this place and I got them kid chopsticks for them to bring here.
The food is great. 99 times out of 100, I get pho. I got grilled beef one time and that was delicious! I love Thai ice tea and my son loves the...
Read moreI think this place is off the hook good! There is nothing better than walking into this place and just getting that blast of pho broth aroma.. I’ve hit one other spot a couple miles north which was the only time I tossed Pho out. This place is always always on point. Usually get 5 large Rounde eye and tendon Pho. Once a week in the winter. The broth has such a nice balance of flavors and is never lacking and never has too much of any ingredients. The only thing I could say on the down side is I always tend to need to heat my broth up when I get home. Take in account i live 10 minutes away so that may be a distance thing.. Love the people that work there and I saw one person saying they wish they saw more Vietnamese working there? I’m italian and if an African American makes me a perfect Frutta del Mare with al Dente pasta am I going to...
