DO NOT SHOP THIS STORE. Buyer beware...

Another retailer who has chosen to accept credit/debit and refuses to pay the fees THEY are charged by VISA. Instead they unexpectedly increase your purchase price to pass that charge to the consumer.

I was asked "Cash or card", I gave my response and noticed my charge appeared to increase. During my payment processing I asked if she charged more for using a card and she said yes. I replied with "I won't be shopping here again". She asked why and I told her because I'm not responsible for her choice to accept cards and it's not my responsibility to pay her fees associated with that. The calm conversation continued a bit and she told me that I was being aggressive and then to leave. Aggressive I suppose because I am a white man with an out spoken opinion and chose to speak out against this...

Wish I could give a better review but honestly I just can't. I'm a Waxhaw local and frequent all the downtown shops. I have been in this store multiple times by myself, with my kids, and with family members. Unfortunately, the same worker has been there each time - and each time we have been made to feel extremely unwelcomed ESPECIALLY with children (aka babies in strollers.) The worker is unpleasant and seems irritated when customers come in - no greeting and no smiles. Additionally, today I witnessed the worker tell a child (who was not acting up AT ALL) to stop touching the childrens toys....You don't keep customers in a small town with this environment. I will not be back in. I see there are other reviews that also reflect same issues...
