Westchester Gold & Diamonds — Attraction in Port Charlotte

Went in here with an appraisal from 2022 in need of a new one due to address change and new state location. Steve looked at my diamond and told me he wouldn’t put his name on it for a new appraisal but to contact his appraiser Blair on Monday. Continuing to say, If Blair is comfortable putting her name on the appraisal she can do it. WOW !! How rude. First how can this man tell me my diamond quality in his eyes is not what my appraisal has consistently said for over 20 yet he is allowing the store appraiser to put her name on the appraisal with the store name on it. Clearly, this arrogant man was pissed because I called him out and didn’t fall for his bullshit when I shocked him by saying, I know the GIA # is in the diamond, look it up and validate the quality. He walked away 3 times and the last one when he came back told me he’s been doing this 50 years and doesn’t no much - OMG! The most rude tone with other customers standing there he proceeded to say …contact the appraiser Monday she can do the appraisal the same day. All I can say is Wow wow wow !!! Don’t ever trust...

I bought a diamond ring from Westchester Gold and Diamonds if you are not experienced in buying fine jewelry or its your first big purchase DO NOT BUY FROM WESTCHESTER. They told me the stone I bought was graded at an F (two grades below Absolutely colorless) they also sold it graded as a VVS, very very slightly included which is very close to flawless, after taking it to another jeweler who specializes in diamonds they sent it out for an appraisal to a internationally accredited laboratory. It came out to be a H which a substandard stone with slight yellowish tint NOT COLORLESS. It was also NOT a VVS stone it was VS2 HUGE DIFFERENCE. It was also valued at a difference of close to $3,600 less then what they had showed me what it was worth. Do not deal with this company to buy poor quality jewelry from a deceptive company just because sales agents are friendly. I will not step foot in this store and they can keep the money they cheated me out of I am a firm believer in Karma. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU and LIE to you for a quick sale to...

Honest review . Steve nice guy his shop hands down the nicest pre own guys jewelry in the area . I just wish the people he put in charge didn’t always make my blood pressure go up . Again you won’t find guys jewelry like his in this quantity anywhere in this area . And his prices are fair . Just all times, I buy, I leave very upset due to his management staff . But to be honest you won’t find this many guys gold items within 500 miles . His shop is unbelievable amazing when it comes to what I like. It’s not fair the way the management is allowed to talk , he gets very rude and aggressive. People in the service he is in I would recommend the owner to have a talk with him or maybe bring in someone else . That’s just my opinion . But again go shop here . The selection is untouchable in this area the regular staff are friendly as well . And Steve is a man of his word . So I definitely would love to continue to buy...
