Empire Lakes — Attraction in Coos Bay

It's a neat labyrinth of paved trails. It's fun to just walk or bike around and get lost with friends. The lakes are also a popular place for fishing. It really is pretty and quite relaxing. There are plenty of benches along the way with many scenic views of the lakes. But the bathrooms are all portable outhouses and I didn't see any drinking fountains. It can get a little sketchy at times, especially with all of the sense foliage and some of the people that you find in many large parks like this.
