I will never come back... I have a new puppy a Standard Poodle, I took him the first time a few month ago for a partial trim, I am keeping his hair long, they did a good job except for the fact that they shaved between his eyes way too much and it did not look right since he is not shaved at all. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a second time and I brought him back a couple of months later for anoter partial trim.. this time I talked to the owner and I was very specific about the trim, told him I wanted the same they did last time but not to shave down between his eyes, but enough of a trim that he could see, and of course the sanitary cut, ear hair pluck from the inside etc... just the regular rutine. When I picked him up his eyes were covered with hair , they did not trim almost nothing he could not see, the hair inside his ears were not plucked at all, they did not even touch them!!, and to make it worse for the sanitary cut, the groomer decided to shaved him all the way down to his butt, in between his legs and his testicles... IT IS A LONG HAIR DOG, YOU DO NOT SHAVED HIS REAR THAT WAY, OR HIS PRIVATE PARTS!!! and now one of his testicles is irritated red as a berry and swollen and a nasty white zit, because of the razor, if it does not get better by the end of this week I will have to take him to the vet. I wanted to post a picture of it but It will be too graphic.
I took him back and asked them to fix the eyes, and ears and they took him back inside and the girl over there at that time chopped his hair over his eyes, and still did not plucked the hair from the inside of the ears.. NOW for a THIRD time they took him back in and finally took care of the ears...
I am not coming come back ever, I tried to give them my business twice and it did not work... I could have gone to any other groomer but I choose them, they need to do what they tell you they are going to do...
Consistency is the key here, I was expecting the same from the first visit but with a little change, but what I got is a dog with a shaved rear and...
Read moreBefore you decide to go to Splash and Dash, please read my honest review:
Splash and Dash is a con artist. They will say they did something when they really didn't and who can tell when everything is done behind closed doors? Well the poor quality and results will tell the truth. Let me tell you about my first experience at Splash and Dash. We paid for my corgi to get groomed and de-shed. We paid a lot extra for the de-shedding because the guy told us over the phone that it's a long process that is 45 minutes long or longer additional to the grooming process. When we got there, the guy worker quoted us 3 hours for the grooming and de-shedding. That's fine because that's how long it took at Petco. Well about 1 hour and 5 minutes later, we get a text from Splash and Dash that notified us that our corgi is done. I was in disbelief that he was done so soon when the guy quoted us 3 hours. When I got there, I asked him what did my corgi get done and he said grooming and de-shedding. That was a lie. Let me tell you why that was a lie. When we took my corgi to Petco for the same services, it took them 3 hours and my corgi did not shed at all for a least a month or two. We noticed a huge improvement. Well when we took our corgi home from Splash and Dash, he was still shedding like normal. Like no de-shedding was done on him which none was. We sure paid for the de-shedding add on though and we got con into believing they de-shed him which I know for sure they didn't or he wouldn't be shedding like normal. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost! Go to Petco or somewhere else that won't con you and will provide good quality services. Thank you for taking the time to read my...
Read moreWorst experience EVER!! Took my Mini-Schnauzer in for a grooming and got a call less than an hour later letting me know she's ready for pick-up, I get there 45 minutes later, and the Owner goes back to get her but I end up waiting another 15 minutes for them to "finish her off", He then emerges with her and she has been shaven bare ALL OVER! He apparently FORGOT to let the groomer know that she needed to do a Schnauzer cut, but he tries to sugar cote his mishap by telling me she "needed " it, as her coat and legs were badly matted (total BS as ONLY her left side was matted, which we discussed when I dropped her off). Upon further inspection, I discover that she not only has been shaved bare, but that it was done in a messy and hasty manner, leaving her coat choppy and uneven all over. Pointing this out to him, got me nowhere though, as he STILL continued trying to cover-up the fact that they had messed up in a HUGE way. And here I am having spent a fortune with my dog looking worse than when she went in while she shivers in the cold, with NO apology from the Owner and no real monetary compensation either (I was given an $8 discount..what an insult!!). Needless to say, we will NEVER be back, or anyone we know! These people know nothing about Customer Service / Satisfaction and it's clear that they're only interested in lining their pockets. Note that they are way more expensive than the average groomer out there and that you will get charged extra for every little thing...
