This is a long overdue review for me;

If you want a Jiu Jitsu place where it’s a family oriented atmosphere, a place where safety is a priority, and where camaraderie and friendships are forged; come to Gracie Barra Coppell.

The owners Ms. Claudia and Mr. Alex are extremely charismatic, and super nice. Mr. Alex is also a patient and motivating teacher, and a great guy and always is willing to show moves to anybody, anytime

Professor Gabriela is an amazing kickboxing coach and really pushes you and makes it a great time! Super kind as well

Ms. Bruna at the front desk is the nicest person ever, always smiling and always has something nice to say. She is always willing to help you out with anything related to your account, or getting gear, etc. She is a big part of the amazing atmosphere here!

Professor Guillerme is hands down the best Jiu jitsu Professor I’ve had. I can confidently say that if it wasn’t for him, I would have made a million excuses for myself and dropped out of Jiu Jitsu long ago to play video games instead 🎮😂. He is extremely kind, has a great sense of humor, and he tries to be a friend to each student. He even personally calls students who haven’t been on the mat in a long time to try and motivate them to come back, he’s just so passionate about maintaining a friendly and motivating atmosphere. Without him I wouldn’t have found my love for Jiu Jitsu, thank you 🙏 Professor Gui for all the fun times

I can’t say enough good things about Gracie Barra Coppell! All three of my children attend, and recently, I decided to join too—and I’m so glad I did. The atmosphere is welcoming, energetic, and encouraging, whether you’re a total beginner or more experienced.

The professor is absolutely brilliant—not only skilled and knowledgeable in Jiu-Jitsu, but also incredibly patient and inspiring with both kids and adults. You can tell he truly cares about every student’s growth on and off the mat.

It’s more than just a martial arts school—it feels like a community. My kids are gaining confidence, discipline, and having so much fun while staying active.

Gracie Barra Coppell is a great place to train Brazilian jiujitsu. The gym is clean, the mats are large, and the staff is professional. Visitors are welcome to train at the gym. I visited the Dallas area from Albuquerque and was welcomed at this gym. The Professor, Guilherme, taught armbar from closed guard, Kimura from closed guard, and omoplata from closed guard. We also were taught additional stretches during the warm up. We had a five minute round with Prof Guilherme each. He’s very good! Bruna the program director was an excellent...
