Just this month I started shopping at Game X Change. Never had any issues I felt like the store was pretty fair when it come into trade in value of both video games and Game systems so I continued to Shop there. For Christmas I decided to get my son a Game cube as a Christmas Gift. The system comes with the system, a controller, and all the necessary cords to hook up. I got the Game cube home and tried it out. The system kept flashing ERROR across the screen. I packed up everything that came with the system ( The system itself,controller, and all the necessary hardware) and I took the system to Game X Change to see what can be done. The employee there unpacked everything, tried the system out to find that the ERROR message was still popping up. She then went a got a new video game and tried that. Come to find out it was the game that was bad not the system. So she just swapped the Games and packed everything back up so we thought. Got back home wrapped the GameCube up because and placed it under the tree. On Christmas day my son opened the GameCube and realized there was no controller. I looked myself and so did my wife and sure enough there was no controller. I tell my wife " It's kool, Game X Change is pretty fair we can just go there and let them know they forgot to repackage our controller". It was Christmas eve so we had to wait until Sat 26 DEC 2015. We go there and let the employees know what happened. they watch a video recording showing a employee grabbing our system and cords and controller according to them and handing it to us. THEY NEVER SHOWED THE EMPLOYEE PACKAGING THE STUFF BACK INTO THE BOX WE WALKED IN WITH. Another employee calls Corporate who tells her not to hand us another controller. End Result I end up getting ripped off by Game X Change over a measly controller. Whats worse to me is I told all my friends to shop their because they are fair. Not to worry though...
Read moreI bought 2 $9.99 DVDs and one $20.00 xbox game as I was checking out I asked the girl if she could clean the cds, she cleans one DVD and then looks at the other and says it's not that bad and she would rather NOT clean the disc because the machine could crack it (as she is running her finger nail all around the disc). I am baffled at her saying this but she continues with finding the xbox game looks at that disc up close and says there are some scratches on this one and precedes to put the disc in the machine to clean it Are you Kidding, So you'll clean 2 out of the 3 cds. I will say the guy behind the counter said that rarely happens a disc breaking in the machine but she ignored him so Find better employees Game exchange or atleast find ones that have better customer service and dont act all high and mighty towards people who are putting money into your store. She would rather I take the disc home and tell me I have a 90 warranty but if the disc doesn't work I'm out of my money because you don't refund and I'll have to get a different movie that I don't want because the movie in question was the...
Read moreI went into this store today for the very first time. I purchased 3 used wii games for my son. When I tried them out at home, not one of the games even worked. I went back to the store and let the staff know. They refused to give me my money back and had the nerve enough to say to me how do we know you didn't break it. I'm like, I just bought this a few hours ago. They told me they can exchange one, and buy back the others at a fraction of the cost I paid. I then asked to speak to the manager. They refused to even call him or get my info so I can speak to the manager myself. I feel taken advantage of and used. They didn't even care! They were rude and very disrespectful towards me.
