Oh boy, where to begin with this one. We were warmly welcomed at the door by one of the cooks and thus began what I was expecting to be a good journey. The friend I brought along had been raving about this place and we were both excited to go in. The woman who came out to take our order seemed friendly enough at first when I asked a couple questions about the menu but once we began to order she quickly switched to very annoyed and disinterested. We both got the feeling we weren’t very welcome. The order came out quickly enough, about 15 mins, and we were both excited. Took less than 5mins to get home and open up the boxes. I should have opened it before leaving to check however and that is my fault. However what we were given barely qualified looking edible and the fries were barely cooked at all. See pics below. While the burger was cooked how I asked (well done and crispy bacon) though it barely had any sauce (I had already added more before I thought to take a pic) and the bun was broken nearly in half. I can’t help but cringe at the texture that the meat had. The meat and bacon also barely had any taste, the fries barely had any seasoning, and we got two very different portions of fries even though we both paid an extra $2.25 for an “upgrade” to shoestring fries. I barely got any at all, which again were barely cooked. My friends burger was the only part of her meal that had seasoning on it at all. That seasoning was salt. TOO MUCH salt. Her fries had the same issues as mine. This entire meal; 2 medium sized burgers, 2 “upgraded” orders of shoestring fries, and 2 drinks cost $23 and some change and it was NOT worth it. We both had to admit at the end that neither meal was good, the fries sucked and the price was not worth it. We will not be returning and I don’t recommend you do either.

Lets get to it. So for food, I ordered the bbq burger with string fries with the texas seasoning. The fries were so darn salty, I gave up on them. But they were hot and fresh! I mark that up to me ordering with seasoning. The burger was great! The jalapeños were only in the middle though, I would have liked them to be spread out a bit and not be the small tips of a jalapeño. The place isn't bad overall. They greeted me as I approached the counter, and they handed me a menu so I wasn't looking up too much. They did have a nice big sign telling me about the upcharge for electronic payments (which somehow I missed). I just can't give it 5 stars cause there was no wow factor with food, service, or atmosphere. For instance, I tipped but still only got the food bagged. No signing to the condiments or anything. I actually forgot napkins and ketchup as there was no mention. I guess as a first-time visitor I am used to places saying "napkins and condiments are over there" or something like that. I mean it'd be easy to give 5 stars, till you visit a place that is definitely 5 stars. Then you start having a different scale. But still not a bad place, for instance as I waited for my food, a gentleman came in a guy in the back asked " the usual?" That tells me this place has regulars and memorized them. Terrible places won't have regulars. I uploaded an up to date menu as I couldn't find one on Google and their Facebook seems a little outdated.

After a long morning of house hunting, we stopped here for a late lunch and it did not disappoint. Talk about a cute vintage clean restaurant with an old TV playing in the background. My little red head got a corn dog and fries, that were straight outta the fryer, and they looked amazing. My wedges were so well seasoned that you didn't need ketchup, and my Austin Dog was amazing with avocado- which is why we didn't even take pics till exiting, just downed all the food. We will definitely come back to this little gem.

I normally have a great experience here, food is always fresh and hot. Cooked to order. Today I was a little confused and disappointed, the lady at the front taking orders around 4:30ish should listen better. There have been 3 separate times I have come and asked for a Large fountain drink and been given a medium. One time I asked for no mushrooms and still received mushrooms. Cool whatever not a big deal, but today when I was ordering I asked her if the onion rings were available and she said no that the truck didn’t bring them. I was like aww man because I’ve been wanting to try them the past two visits and have been told both times that they weren’t available for some reason or another even though they are advertised at the register. As my friend and I sat and ate at the table the woman was in the back preparing orders when I assume the owner was up front taking orders. 10 min after we had received our food, I overheard the customer ask for onion rings and he was told no problem. If she didn’t want to make them she could of just...
