My husand n I returned to the Catholic Church in 2004. We are blessed to be part of this vibrant, exciting family of families. Our gifts and talents are welcomed n we are at home. We are happily flourishing in our faith journey. We worship with folks drawn from all over the US n many countries to the Coastal Bend. Within its 12 counties the Diocese of Corpus Christi contains a variety of beautiful, historic worship n retreat centers. The colorful history of this missionary diocese in South Texas adds layers of meaning to each place because of the hardships n sacrifices of the people who built them. They placed highest value on honoring God n educating their children in the Catholic faith. During the Jubilee Year of Mercy it is possible to do a mini-pilgrimage by visiting four of them. Informative pamphlets created by Deacon Arnold are available at all churches of the Diocese. Join with us as we explore our heritage while increasing in our practice of Mercy. It is not the Lord's wish that any should perish! Let us become agents of Mercy n spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
