Ocean Treasures — Attraction in Corpus Christi

April 9 2022 My husband and I made a purchase of over $500 between the both of us and the employees were so nice and friendly that day, we hand no issues, the service was perfect. What we didn’t notice is that one of the items we purchased, kids water shoes, were label with the wrong size. The stickers read as 9 but they were actually size 6. April 10 we went back to see if we could exchange the shoes for the correct size and Jackie the employee we spoked to was extremely rude. She cut off my husband as he was explaining our situation and told him they didn’t make any exchanges without an receipt and they didn’t make any exchanges on shoes. Ok, fine. My husband just told her that they should be checking the labels on the merchandise to have the correct size posted, she then very sarcastically and arrogantly responded we should have had our child try them next time. Newsflash lady, our kid wasn’t with us that day! If you are just going to pick and choose what day you are going to be friendly to your customers then you shouldn’t be on...

I was actually unsure of how to feel about this place. There's definitely a lot of things to look at. I got my fortune while I was there. I'm going to go out on a limb and say they have a lot of credit card fraud issues because of all the signs and the strict ID policy. I actually came here because I promised my son to take him to look at toys and I assumed this place would have toys. It did. A lot of super random toys. Even though he looked at everything for a long time it took him a while to find one toy that he wanted to go home with. The toy he ended up doing home with was a tracked crane with lights and music that dances around different directions. There were some toys that were vaguely or moderately racist depending on your viewpoint and either tasteless or hilarious toys also dependant on your viewpoint. There were a lot of beach related toys on the other side and a stuffed animal section that had a large tie dye sea turtle that I low key super wanted. As it was $60 I...

Well worth the detour off the highway. Great place for a photo op on vacation. We had a group of 12 with us and a great place to grab that group photo that will be a reminder for years to come of a great family vacation. We all went inside to grab the kids a souvenir. I didn't realize how big the inside of this place truly was until we started browsing the inside. Im not really sure if I'd call this a tourist trap as far as pricing, but they definitely had some unique items different than the other shops we visited. My only concern was the checkout line. To check out the line was extremely long. Only one register opened. Took a while to get out of this store. Overall, it was worth the stop just for the chance to get a picture that will preserve a memory for the family...
