Salon Salon - TX — Attraction in Corpus Christi

Over $40 for a straight cut was not worth my less than 30 minute visit. I wanted layers, but was told that because my hair was long, layers is not a good option. Totally understandable. But I came out with a straight cut. I didn't think much of it at the time because hey, my dead ends were mostly gone.

Came back to Toronto/Canada got a haircut for less $35 including tax and tip, and the lady spent over an hour cutting my hair, asking me what happened and why did I get such a straight cut. That made me think, she's right. I wanted a layered cut, and a straight cut can only make it look even LESS layered.

Anyway, I wouldn't go back to this place. And yes I will be back in TX. Maybe it was just the girl that I had got, but paying nearly $50 for a 20-30 minute cut is too expensive (especially in the States/TX - and we all know how Canada has a rep. for being expensive). If it was quality service, price would not be a deal breaker. I don't think I will be willing to give it a second shot. I may as well go to First Choice. At least First Choice wouldn't try to sell you products.

I would not say don't go to this place. I can see that they have gotten good reviews so it isn't necessarily bad. Give it a shot, maybe I had a bad hairdresser. Maybe someone else in my position would have...

This salon saved my life, especially the hair stylist Heather!!! I attempted to cut and dye my hair a while back and it was a disaster. I called and they were so nice and able to get me in right away I was so relieved!! I came in and showed heather my hair and she immediately went above and beyond to transform it. She genuinely cared about fixing my hair and even rearranged plans to stay with me longer, and it was my first time meeting her, she’s so kind!!! She turned my brassy hack job into an icy blonde chic bob. I have never gotten so many complements on my hair before!! She knows exactly what to do with blonde hair, which is hard to find. I go to see her every month now and have fallen in love with my hair for the first time in my life. She is truly amazing at what she does and is a fun...

Love my hair cut. Never went to a professional salon before. My first time getting something done like this. Wanted something different. Called at 1'oclock n they had an opening at 2. Mrs. Heather did my hair n she was a wonderful person and excellent conversationalist made my whole experience great. She didnt just cut my hair but she washed shampooed, conditioned n styled my hair. I love the experience n the price was modest. $54. N upon me paying I was given a goodie bag for my first time visit. Evey women there was so kind to me and made me feel comfortable and welcome.
