My child and I literally make fun of this park because it personifies Oregon so well. Somebody built this recreational area and put up a slide that has a death net you have to crawl over to get to the slide making it terrifying for most children and a couple of rocks. Seriously a dangerous slide that terrifies children and two rocks and they called it a park. Just like the people of Corvallis to make some hideous horrible useless thing while patting themselves on the back for their accomplishment. This place is a waste of time unless you want to see the two ducks that live in the pond. Took my now husband on a moonlit walk down the bike paths to sit on the bench under the ornamental maples, and we spent a few hours in conversation in this serene little tucked away park. We became a couple because of this place. Idk what it's like when it's busy, but it seems like a good place for an event.
