Bought a laptop from Best Buy Costa Mesa. When I was there, no one asked me if I need any help (they only asked male customers, who seemed to be about to buy a $2000 macbook). I bought a PC, which was preinstalled Window 10. It went with a free antivirus, and the saleperson gave me an antivirus for MAC. (Dear, you are very helpful. I appreciate!!!) I didn't really pay attention until I got home so I had to get back to exchange. (It is ONLY a 30 minutes drive, and yeah my car runs on water instead of GAS)
2 weeks later I went back there to buy a tablet. And again NO ONE EVEN ASKED. So I waited at the tablet section for 10 minutes, no one asked. I ran to a guy at the Phone section, he pointed to the guy at the laptop section. Ok, so I ran to the laptop section, the guy who was holding a writing pad told me to wait after he helped "that guy" (who was about to buy a Macbook). Ok, so I waited. He went into stock, grabbed one, gave it to "that guy", "that guy" talked to his wife, gave it back to him, walked away. He went back to stock, then went out, talked to other saleperson. I still waited. 10 MINTUES. He turned around, saw me, then turned back to his coworkers, talked. and I still WAITED. (Dear, I really APPRECIATE).
Today, the laptop which i bought 3 WEEKS ago has some problems. (FYI, i only use it for MICROSOFT WORD and NETFLIX). Window 10 problem. I chat with a geek squad SPECIALIST, he said he can't do anything I have to bring it to the store and it will be a fee applied since I don't buy any plan with them. SERIOUSLY? I spent $600 for a laptop and use it for 3 weeks only for microsoft word and netflix and now i have to pay to have it fixed? SERIOUSLY BEST BUY? YOU GUYS DON'T HELP ME TO BUY STUFF AND YOU ASKED ME TO GET BACK THERE TO PAY EXTRA??? 3 months old for a $600 laptop. I am starting to question the quality of your product, not to mention your famous customer service quality.
I think I am NOT gonna buy anything from Best buy anymore. I do NOT want to be treated that way.
Thank you Best Buy for such a FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, and QUALITY...

I have been a loyal customer of Best Buy for many years. But today, Best Buy will lose me as a customer because of the lack of customer service and how rudely I was treated by the staff. I walked in to Best Buy at 901 S Coast drive - Costa Mesa, CA, today date March Tuesday 03 2020 around 8:20pm to return a couple of items. I stopped by the staff at the front to present my items to be returned, and was told to go to the customer service. I walked over to the customer service and no one was there and waited for about 3 minutes. A male staff with long black hair came out of nowhere and with a negative attitude said "did you move that cone" in a very condescending and demeaning tone. We told him that we did not move anything, and he pointed to a sign in front of us that says go to customer pick up and just left without saying anything while I was still talking to him explaining that the staff at the front was the one who told me to go to customer service. I felt very disrespected and humiliated from negative attitude and behavior that this staff had done to me. Unfortunately, I don’t remember his name but he has long black hair. I wanted to call the police on him because he insulted me as a customer and he think he’s a tough guy!!! And he didn’t respect my time and my waiting for someone to help me to do my exchange. Anyway, I asked for the manager and she apologized in behalf of the rude staff. I also felt from the managers apology that she was not sincere about it, she lacked empathy and did not know how to de escalate the situation. The manager also needs a lot of training in providing better customer service.
Your guys need a lot of training. And this guy need a doctor to help him. Or people will start suing you for this kind of attitude in your store.
As a Best Buy loyal customer take this situation seriously and work on training your staff on how to treat customers with respect and learn how to provide great customer...
Read moreThe lady on the phone was horrible, I seriously don't even want to write about it I don't like to post negative stuff but it was absolutely ridiculous I had extended the pickup for something I purchased online and I called the Costa Mesa location but the phone number listed is not the store's actual phone number it is rerouted to some call system in a different state and you'd have to keep listening to the prompts and push one if you want to this push five for this and they leave you on hold forever so after being on the phone for 12 and a half minutes I finally got somebody and she was absolutely no help I told her I needed to ask a question about my laptop and obviously it wasn't something she could help me with because she wasn't on site and it's extremely frustrating that you can't get a hold of anybody who works at the actual store number one and number two she was just playing out rude it's one thing to not be able to speak to somebody at the store fine if that's the way their system works but there was a different way to handle it she didn't have to act or behave and respond in the way that she did and I asked for her name and she wanted to know why and that's not the response that you give and I asked for her employee number and she told me she couldn't give me that information and I said where are you located and she said I didn't need to know so she was just very rude and short with me and was not helpful at all but the people who work at the Costa Mesa location of Festival bye I've had no problems with them it's kind of frustrating that the store and all the locations they close at 8:00 p.m. in my opinion that's kind of early but I know a lot of store hours have changed with the pandemic and everything else so anyways Best Buy has a lot of electronics at reasonable prices and I will...
