I played sand volleyball here a few times and have to say it's one of the poorest quality sand volleyball courts I've been to in the OC. The sand is very densely packed, shallow, and coarse. One person made the mistake of diving for the ball and really cut up his knees and hands.
Be careful before playing if you're playing barefoot because there are surrounding trees with those spikey seed pods that can fall onto the court.
The sand should really be turned over to loosen it up, more sand should be added and the sand should be changed to a finer sand type.
