Have lived in the area for decades and came across Brazuca Cafe recently on the web.
Few days ago I ordered their pastries - coxinha, pasteis (cheese/heart of palms/beef) and kibbeh for delivery.
As a picky eater this was an overall unprecedented surprise.
I can tell they use high quality, fresh and healthy ingredients to achieve such level of taste and aftertaste. I am familiar with the Brazilian Cuisine and am sure they run a secret recipe for the food they make. While kibbeh is a Middle Eastern delicacy, it’s also a very popular dish in Brazil.
I couldn’t stop eating !
Yesterday, I placed another online order of pastries along with their “Feijoada” - a black bean stew with select red meats and sides. While I expected the portion be larger for the price, it was another outstanding delicious surprise cooked to perfection.
Overall, this is by far the next level of the Brazilian Cuisine.
Kudos to the owners and team members at Brazuca Cafe, you guys got a new happy...
Read moreThe steak plate made my day! The picanha was so good my husband and I ended up ordering an extra side of it. It was juicy, tender, and very flavorful from great seasoning. It came with rice, black beans, and salad. If you like spice, the pepper vinegar on the table was so good we bought a bottle of it for home. The beef pastel was nice but I agree with other reviews that the filling was minimal (and all on one side). The shell is really delicious on its own so that's the upside. We tried 6 small croquettes. The beef was best, then cheese, then chicken. I liked the white sauce that came on the side. The orange juice was nice and fresh and I enjoyed the fruit infused water (orange and lime) that was complimentary. Their strawberry and chocolate pastel and flan made for a sweet dessert. They had steady business for a Saturday afternoon. Service was efficient and friendly. There was ambience from photo opp wall decor. All things considered I would definitely come back for the...
Read moreI went to Brazuca Café three days in a row, and it’s easily the best Brazilian food I’ve had in the U.S.
The passion fruit juice is the best juice I’ve ever had – nothing in California or New Jersey even comes close.
The picanha plate was amazing: fresh rice, fresh salad, and fresh beans served in a small cast-iron pot that keeps them hot and flavorful.
I also tried the feijoada, and it’s made only with top-quality meats: sausage, pork belly, and pork shoulder. I’ve been searching for a real feijoada in the U.S. for 10 years, and I finally found it here.
They also have original Brazilian beers like Bohemia and Brahma, and they taste exactly like in Brazil – not stale or off like in other places.
And the service is outstanding. The staff is very professional, always checking on the customers, making sure the food is perfect, and paying attention to every detail. It shows how much they care about quality.
This place is a real gem – both the food and the service are...
