I am extremely disappointed with the nano brow service I received at Glamour Lash and Brows Salon. I paid $700 for a semi-permanent makeup procedure that has left me with uneven, poorly executed eyebrows that I now need to have corrected elsewhere.
The results are unacceptable:
My eyebrows are not the same size, shape, color, or density. The strokes are inconsistent and uneven due to irregular pressure applied during the procedure. There was no brow mapping done beforehand — a basic standard in this industry. I received no pre-treatment consultation, no aftercare instructions, and no follow-up. The technician did not speak English, which made communication about expectations and care impossible. I reached out multiple times via email to request a refund, and instead of addressing the quality issues, I was only offered a free touch-up — which I do not trust based on the initial experience.
I have reported this business to the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology and the Better Business Bureau. I hope this review serves as a warning to others considering this service. For such an expensive and permanent procedure, professionalism, communication, and skill are non-negotiable — and unfortunately, all were severely lacking in my experience.
UPDATE I placed a $100 holding deposit via debit card and $460 via Zelle that is not including a tip. Although she claims to have done a full brow mapping she did not. She drew on my eyebrows with a little white pencil. She did not use tape, string, measuring tape, ext. a correct brow mapping is done with measuring tools and stings to get an absolutely accurate image of mirrored brows. She did not contact me prior to advise me on how to prep for my procedure. She said I can wash my newly done micro brows the same day. She did a touch up 2 weeks after even thought they weren’t fully healed. Please save your money and go to a salon...
Read moreI will never be back. I asked for a clean up and got an eyebrow shape change on only 1 eyebrow.! Like if you’re going to change one might as well change both. I knew something was wrong when she stopped to brush them for quite a bit and then proceeded and she left wax on me and my fiancé everywhere it was such a rush job.I was so in shock I just paid and left. After taking a few days of processing I noticed I’m also missing hairs in front of my eyebrow I have very full eyebrows I’ve never had missing hairs in the front Edit: I don’t think it was miscommunication on my part. I very clearly stated that I only wanted a clean up. I’m not sure how that turned into changing the complete shape of one eyebrow. That’s the point in the review And despite seeing my eyebrows my fiancé really just needed to get his done that day due to having an event the next day which is 100% his choice. I feel the lack of communication on your part is where there was a misunderstanding.. just simply from your point of view you can clearly see they are different, I would think you would say something. Read moreI've been coming here a few months now and have formed a solid opinion. The first person that did my lashes did an amazing job. They were so perfect and after two weeks they were still full to the point I almost didn't need a fill. After that, it was down hill. The next time I went it I got paired with someone else and the booking tool does not allow you to select a tech. This person took time taking off almost all my lashes before putting in new ones. I am not sure if this is normal but I still had full lashes from the first session. Then the new set fell out in the first 4 days and I had nothing left after 1 week. This seems to be the trend now. Every time I get a fill now they charge me for a price higher than the 3 week fill even though I go in after two weeks but because most of the lashes fall out quickly now. I follow their instructions and don't wet them for 24 hours and I don't curl them or wear mascara. I have not seen the person who did my lashes first, but I would choose her.
