What can I say about the Amen Clinics, but truly an amazing organization and staff from top to bottom. The Amen Clinics understands that this process of working on ourselves starts with the doing the work. And they practice what they preach with a very comprehensive intake program that is meant to find what the root of our/the patients' challenges may be. In this instance, my son, who is an active kid, but struggle immensely with focus, concentration, impulsivity the list goes on... ADHD to a tee!!!! :)

But the initial care from starting the process with Katie Benson their outreach manager (amazing energy and enthusiasm for this healing journey) and Lauren Marcheftka the diagnostic specialist who put so much care into my son and left him being so intrigued and enamored by what is to come with the brain scans, and made him feel at ease and excited to take the next steps in this wholistic approach to treating his body and mind!

Dr Karimpour what an amazing treatment plan that was customized for my son and the care and time she put into answering our questions and putting forth a very comprehensive road map of supplementation, diet, potential school initiatives that we should look into to enact for his studies, and the collaboration with other therapists that we are working with as well. Very impressive of the care given and quality.

And last but not least, Elle Mollet the Clinical Director for the Amen Clinics, she is amazing, the field general of the clinic who has an amazing heart and soul and understands what we needed for this healing journey. Elle's care, empathy, and support is unmatched. She gets things done and was so proactive in getting my son what he needed from the initiation of tests, to supplementation, to connecting with him; where Cash had said, "Elle is really cool!" Elle made Cash very comfortable with the entire process of the brain SPECT scan and just spoke to him with a big heart and made him feel like a rock star. So thank you Elle for your TLC and just top to bottom professionalism and care for us.

I struggle with betrayal and lack of justice in this world. A bitter divorce, tough business climates and selfish people that have no problem steeping on me and others. Off and on counseling through marriage and other stuff. I found it harder and harder to endure these injustices that make little sense to me and create so much unhealthy stress in my life.

I was referred to Dr. Jennifer Love of Amen clinics.

Not only am I heard, I feel understood. She cannot help me with bad people and legal systems that fail us often. But with an understanding medically of what long term heavy stress does to an Individual She was quickly able to recommend treatments that we quickly balanced and really help keep me not only calmer, but alert and clear minded. I have legal battles and professional debates I need to stay in the fight for hours at times and sometimes a day straight stress load.

Other counseling cannot help when your system is over loaded as well. I am a diagnostician in my own world and to have the aid of a higher level Doctor is very comforting AND successful. Your mind has to be calm to accept full reasoning and healing. If you have been struggling in this world...counseled and not better. If you have been told to "accept things" and "move on". How about trust God and forgive for your own heath. These things are true. But if you CANNOT get away from the causes of your stress or people that keep after you...you need her help.

Would you like to be heard, understood and then someone actually get the fire extinguisher and come to help?! Yeah...pretty good stuff.

Also with calm clarity, my armor stays tight, I can discern useless flaming arrows vs real threads and not get upset...but focus on the important issues and let the stupid stuff not rob my attention and energy.

I hope that is a very specific and powerful positive testimony for Dr. Love and the Amen clinic network.

Do not stay in lifes battles alone too long = you will...

Very general, mediocre care. I've been receiving medical care for my mental health for over a decade—the last 22 months with the Amen Clinics—and I have to say that the care here has been disappointing compared to what they advertised themselves to be. Don't get me wrong, if you need a Zoloft prescription for Seasonal Affective Disorder, they can definitely provide that for you; however, Amen Clinics is not the advanced, thorough, specialty clinic they say they are. They will order thousands of dollars worth of tests and recommend hundreds of dollars worth of supplements from their website to only give you the most basic treatment that, if you've been receiving mental health care for a while, you've heard dozens of times, on par with somewhere like WebMD or WikiHow. My current psychiatrist, Dr. Seawell, favors the treatment plan of the exact same medication I was taking 9 years ago paired with the plucky mindset of "just pushing through". I've even stopped begging for his vague treatment notes/summaries after sessions (as has been necessary in the past) and they've stopped appearing in my patient portal since three sessions ago. I understand that these physicians may have a lot of clients to manage but do not expect to be anything close to a priority because you will not be. In summary, if you just need a prescription and have a significant surplus of disposable income burning a hole in your pocket, the Amen Clinics will be fine and nothing more. I want to emphasize that I’m not saying you’ll get nothing; you will receive basic treatment. BUT—If you have been struggling for a long time with debilitating mental illness(es) and are hoping for more intensive care or answers, you will be extremely disappointed here. This is a life or death area of health and I hope Amen Clinics learn to treat it as such. If I could do it again, I would definitely not choose the...
