Cottleville Landing — Attraction in Cottleville

Pizza has always been a staple for our family and having local dependable, local go-tos for a quick pie with family and friends is always appreciated.

I've been to other MOD Pizza (MOD Pizza places (the last one we'd been to was the one in St. Charles, lots of views over thata'way) and so when I learned another was opening right down the street for one of our local byways - well it was a NATURAL stop and chow plan for a lazy Friday evening.

The open-feel of this restaurant is really well done. If you've ever been in a restaurant that's "simply too small" well - this isn't it. Lots of space both for lining up to order AND - if you're eating.

There are also a number of options for seating from just two people, to sliding multiple tables together to larger, family-sized tables which I really do like. Eating at - a larger table - like a family, is a DYING ART that I not only love but love to foster for anyone that associates with their family. It IS a lost art.

There are a number of different on-menu plans you can take advantage, and - my goodness - the salads are truly a treat as well. The ones that I've had in the past were not only fresh, made-to-order, robust offerings, but really tasty to boot.

While I didn't dig into a salad this time, I did order a Chicken & Pepperoni pizza. I paid (a good, reasonable amount for a custom pizza I get in 8 minutes) and a soda pop. I went to wash my hands and about three minutes after I returned from the restroom, my food was ready.

The pizza was cooked to perfection. Just a small bit of char, solid crust cooking and some really great, fresh toppings with their own flavor. Just YUM.

The bottom line is that it's great to have another dependable, tasty pizza joint locally but - to know for yourselves - you're going to need to check it out for yourself!

I shop there pretty often. They usually have a pretty good variety of items to choose from. I only gave 3 stars because the older Grey haired manager lady always seems to be in a bad mood and grouchy to the employees and customers. After working in customer service for most of my life, I recommend that this manager attend some serious customer service training. I heard her with my own ears tell another customer who was asking her a question about opening additional checkout lanes. He could go elsewhere to shop. This was after her asking him if he could run a checkout register and him answering no he did not work there. She never smiles and always snaps back at anyone who questions her. I would love to see a boss of hers treat and talk to her the way I have heard and seen her treat customers...

I like to go to the cottleville landing little strip mall to go to the shnucks for quick little runs to the grocery store and to the pharmacy in schnuks to get my prescriptions filled every month because they always make sure that they have what I need filled every month and are faster than any other pharmacy that I have gone to by a long shot !! Lol and I go to the little Caesars pizza place in the strip mall !! That and they are only 3 blocks from my house doesn't hurt either !! Lol they are close and...
