Booked a birthday party for 6 people ($228 total) as this seemed like a cool concept but was shocked to discover our entire group had to share ONE small booth that only fits 3 people. This means half your party is always sitting out during your paid hour.
Additional problems: Guns frequently jam and need constant BB refills - someone has to play technician instead of participating They don't disclose the 1-booth limitation when booking - feels pretty misleading At $38/person, poor value when most people can't participate
I ended up not playing at all so the kids could rotate through. Paid $38 to help with setup and troubleshoot equipment.
When I contacted management for a partial refund, they dismissed my concerns and said this setup is "standard." If it's standard, why not disclose it upfront?
The kids who actually got to play had fun, but the lack of transparency about severe capacity limitations is unacceptable. You're basically paying premium prices for an hour to watch others play and between training, loading, troubleshooting, and rotating in you may play for 10 minutes with bigger parties.
Save your money unless you have 3...
Read moreTop notch is top shelf entertainment. Upon entering the building, i could hear what almost sounded like someone hammering, without rhythm, then I was warmly greeted by a smiling attendant, who clearly explained the safety requirements of the axe house. Waivers were signed and games were on! The establishment was large and open enough to feel totally at ease, and each “throwing ally “ was its own safe space. The staff was cordial, attentive, highly visible, accessible, and accommodating. Observing them, they value their patrons and they treated their customers and I, very well. The axe throwing was a blast! The games you play are challenging and exciting, and safe. There’s a little something ( to throw) for everyone! Surprise... not just axes. They don’t sell alcohol for obvious reasons, but there is a tasty brew house next door, just a few steps away, if you need to wet your whistle or share your experience with your friends when your done. Great time, great staff, go try your skills, you might surprise yourself! I did!!! And I’ll...
Read moreThis was a really fun experience for me and my daughter! We went on a weekday afternoon during Christmas break and it was pretty empty. I made a reservation online just in case. The staff on duty was very friendly and helpful with getting us started. We had to fill out a waiver and then he did a quick demonstration and sent us off to our cage to practice throwing. After about 10 minutes he came around with a game sheet that explained a couple different games we could do. The hardest part initially was getting the axe to stick to the target. The attendant sprayed the target with water to soften it up which seemed to do the trick. He later came around and gave us throwing stars and cards to use as well. He also gave some pointers to us and other clients. Overall it was a fun, safe, clean and enjoyable experience. I had not thrown axes before so I have nothing to compare this to so take my review with a grain of salt. The hour and a half reservation went by pretty quickly and my daughter...
