I decided to take my friends kids (5 and 2) because they had such a reasonable rate for kids 5 and under and for parents. They’re rambunctious kids who love running and jumping. It was easy to reserve a time online, so I was excited. I spent about $45 upfront for admission and their special socks. But when we got there, it was dark, loud, and packed. I spend more money to rent a locker. I’ve been to several other jump/adventure parks and they were all much more spread out and brightly lit. Yes, they were loud, but this was way worse. We went over to the area for smaller kids. The 5yo went up for awhile, but the 2yo was so overwhelmed he just stayed by me. At first I was like oh well at least the 5yo will have fun, but it was so dark I couldn’t keep an eye on the 5yo at all. Plus if he’d needed help, I absolutely wouldn’t have been able to hear him. He came down about 5 minutes later with a dazed look, so we decided to walk around and see what else was there. It all theoretical seemed fun, but there were so many people it would have been difficult for the 5yo to just jump in. He decided we should get slushies and since I’d planned on just eating dinner there we had those and hot dogs. They were all reasonably priced considering the venue - so another plus, but still another $18 invested in this trip. Then we discussed what they wanted to do next. They just didn’t feel comfortable playing there and quite frankly I was glad because keeping track of them would have been difficult, again because of the lighting and noise. We voted on going to the park, where they had a great time. The older kids there seemed to be having fun, so I can’t say this place is awful. But it’s not great for younger kids or the parents who might want to keep an eye on them. The fact that you pay less doesn’t really matter if they can’t play. I emailed them afterwards to share my experience to ask for a refund for our admission - not the food, locker rental, or socks, but was told all sales are final and that it’s just crazy busy during spring break. I get that, but that would seem to indicate that they just let as many people in there as possible without concern for how this impacts people’s experience. So basically I paid around $65 for one kid to play for 5 minutes + three slushies and hot dogs. Not a great deal in my opinion. I probably would have forgotten to write this review, but since then I’ve gotten an email almost every day suggesting I come back or book a birthday party, which continued to remind me of my not so...
Read moreOverall it was a clean facility and it was also nice to be at a place like this and it not be overcrowded. Our family went here for the first time ever Sunday and it was an ok experience but in my opinion definitely not worth the money unless your kiddos are able to actually do all the activities. We were charged for 2 deluxe passes for our 3 + 6 yr old, my 3 yr old was barely above the 40 but below 4'1 so they didn't give us the shorty under 40 and in my opinion it was pretty much a waste of money because the only things she could do were the trampoline, the park, and bumper cars for an hour and of corse they shut it down 10 mins early so the girls got to ride 1 time, my 3 year old technically was to short for rock climbing barely but was able to go thankfully bcuz I would have been more upset for being charged for stuff they wouldn't let her do. The employees let my 3yr old in the ball pit which was her favorite thing here, we went to go do something else and came back and all of a sudden she wasn't able to do that when we went back to the pit by the way the height you had to be again 4'1 again don't understand why she couldn't have just gotten the shorty under 40 if she wasn't going to be allowed to do anything, the only reason she was able to do as much as she was is because I guess the discretion of some of the employees so it was OK but being told yes then no is ridiculous. We paid almost $80 bucks for 2 passes and 2 pairs of socks. My 6 yr old had a blast and my 3 yr old had an OK time. If your kiddo isn't tall enough to do all the activities I wouldn't even go food was expensive but good. If you want more bang for your buck for younger kiddos I would try out Slick City for almost the same price a pizza and 4 drinks were included for a family bundle and that's with all 4 of us paying for socks. Oh yea to top it off this is supposed to be a family place and some of the employees had attitudes I didn't want our girls around so that was the icing on the cake for me not going back for a lonnng time. I'm glad our girls got to have some fun but this experience was disappointing...
Read moreFor $50+ to just get in the door with 2 young children (for only 2 hours)...I wasn't very impressed.
Pros: I liked that they had a good amount of seating but not close to be able to keep an eye on kiddos.
Cons:
Price: I did think that the price was steep for what it was. $25+ an hour for children to play...most people don't make that per hour at work before taxes.
Staff: The gal that checked us in seems to have not wanted to be here today (everyone else seemed to be friendly).
Games: The air hockey table was missing a piece to play. Some of their games were broken or out of order.
WiFi: You don't get service in the building and their WiFi wasn't working.
Seating: There unfortunately was only 2 benches up on the platforms to be able to sit and watch the children.
Small children section: The smaller kids section has really bad lighting and there is several broken foam pieces/padding. In some areas you can see they just duck taped it. They had a slide blocked off with an accordion style gate which I personally deem dangerous due to a child's hand or fingers could be pinched and that it's being used in the small kiddos section.
Bathrooms: In the woman's bathroom there was a stall out
Cleanliness: Main areas are clean but it doesn't look like a deep clean is often ever done. It's easy to spot the leftover food spots on furniture or games. Under the edges of the structures debris lined the floor. There was used gum just sitting on a machine and wrappers on the floor and around the games. If you looked up while sitting on one of their games you could see gum, wrappers and other debris caught in the net where the sky rider attraction starts. There was a thick layer of dust on and under some of the structures.
Some would say that they may not have had a chance to clean yet..well I came when they opened, which should have been when their facility is the cleanest.
If you're going to charge top dollar, then you should be able to provide the service that...
