I had my walk behind self propelled lawn mower serviced here for an annual tune up. The first time I mowed my lawn after I got it back, I had to stop in the middle of mowing because it died on me and I was unable to start it back up. I brought it back in and they determined that they had overfilled it with oil. They fixed that for free, but didn't offer me anything - not even an apology - for the aggravation of having to pay someone to mow my lawn while my mower was being repaired or the inconvenience of having to bring it in again. I think a $5 or $10 in-store credit and an apology would have been a nice gesture since I had to spend $45 to have my lawn mowed. The lawn mower is still having issues with mulching. I called the company I normally use for my annual tune up which was too busy this year to take my mower for its annual tune up. Over the phone, they were able to determine that the carburetor needed to be cleaned. I found someone in the neighborhood to do this and now it's working perfectly. I have no idea if they even really did anything to my mower or if they just added oil (too much) and dusted it off. I will never go back to this store...
Read moreThe only way I was able to list a review was to pick a star. F&H really deserves no stars.I would shop the Cottleville store often, but no longer. My son took a chainsaw in to have it diagnosed. He was told $700 to repair, $600 to purchase a new one. He went in to pick it up. When he got it, he pulled the cord, this cord completely came out of the chainsaw. Also, the chainsaw came apart in pieces. This is not how he delivered the chainsaw for a diagnosis. He ask the person waiting on him what is this? The employee said he had no idea. Well, with that my son lost it. No explanation, nothing. My son ask the employee to use some common sense. They called police because my son was hot and upset. My son left with his now really broken chainsaw. He called later to apologize for his behavior, only to be provoke more. He was told to take F&H to small claims. I guess they figured since it did not work they did not need to put it back together??? I don’t get it. Shame on F&H. I will no longer shop with F&H and will tell all my friends the...
Read moreI don’t like leaving bad reviews but seriously I could not believe my eyes and I stayed calm as I approached the front doors, the only way I can describe what I was looking at is someone must have taken a dirty rag and smeared more dust or dirt all over the glass - looks horrible. Then I went to grab a cart and there was trash in every single cart I could see but I just stayed calm and I know it’s not the end of the world but you are paying a young women & young man and they are standing around talking - takes maybe 10 minutes to gather the trash! I am mostly disappointed that the manager doesn’t see this or take more pride in the store. I like to give money & support for the locals but this is not acceptable in my book 📚 and the flower selection was not worth the stop, you can tell when the flowers are not being taken care of and...
