Antczak Park — Attraction in Cottonwood Heights

Nice park to have a party at. They have a big, covered, pavilion with tables and BBQs. There's a ball diamond too. It's not the best place for disabled or elderly people, even tho they have disabled parking, there's still a longish walk to the tables. The bathrooms needed a little attending, but for outdoor, park bathrooms, I've seen much worse. The lighting at night could have been better, even in the pavilion. We reserve the pavilion once a year for a family reunion. In years past, there have been issues with the bathrooms being locked, place in shambles, garbage cans full and stinky, bricks missing tripping hazard, etc. THIS YEAR when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that not only was it clean but also a new and very much improved playground had been installed. Rather far from the parking lot. Difficult to tell if it's ok to use the school parking lot or not. If there was more parking, the gate was closed. (Not sure if the gate was for the school or park.
