I needed to do something about my eyebrows since the girl that usually does them moved away. I found a deal for buy one get one free services at radiant Waxing in Cottonwood Heights. I had never heard of them, but that's to be expected since I've been with one person for a long time. The price was almost double what I paid previously, but I figured I would be getting 2 visits for that price so it would end up OK.

The address took me to a place that sounded familiar and was familiar when I arrived, but it's not unusual for a building to have the same type of business rent from them again. There were three technicians standing at the front desk. That should have been my warning. Michaela took me back. She was friendly and other than a very dirty mirror for checking after, I thought it was fine.

However they did not allow me to use the buy one get one free deal despite us texting back and forth about it prior to making the appointment. They had my full name and information because I had signed up on their website. They said I had been to this establishment years ago and they had changed their name from lunchbox waxing. I'm assuming because they don't honor their coupons and people were mad. I know I was!

Let’s just say Wax on Wax off, pretty fast appointment for how many areas were worked on !! For starters I want to say how comfortable I was ! I have been getting waxed for years and it’s a big thing to me that I feel comfortable because I had my britches down and fully exposed to the Elements! So a big kudos to the two ladies who in the room! Bethany thank you especially because we shared some awesome conversation while you removed my fur! I also want to give a shout out to the cleanliness of the place and the super awesome amenities they provide to again make you feel comfortable! The entire process from getting my appointment set to the last good bye was very memorable! They added extra services I forgot to add before the appointment to accommodate my “mommy brain” they were awesome about everything ! The ladies were all very nice that I met along my journey of hair removal today @lunchboxwax @cottonwoodheights! I learned a few tips about skin exfoliating and bought their body buff cream to help with nether regions for ingrown hairs ! I will definitely be back !!! I'll open by saying that the place is very neat and clean, and I really like the private rooms. I'm sad though that I'm one of the people that had a bad experience here. I made my appointment two months ago, and this was my first time waxing. There were no pre-appointment instructions at all, and the only time I was asked if it was my first time was when I was standing in the room. My appointment time was changed 30 minutes before I was supposed to show up, so I had to leave from work. Life happens, but it really just added to my anxieties. I ended up having Coco, who knew what she was doing, but I had no idea how to prep for the appointment so I had shorter hair than I was supposed to. My time was also cut short. I ended up paying way more for a job that was only partially done, and feeling like it was my fault for having not known which questions to ask.
