Been going for years but have never felt welcome, the beard guy seems to hate everything and everyone not only has he been there forever with obviously no repercussions for how he treats people, I've bought alot of things like mtg play mats cards and other games, I was looked at like an idiot when I haven't played mtg for over 10 years wanted to know about the packs they had lets just say he definitely didn't want to explain anything to me I literally had to look up on my phone on what the diff "booster" packs were about. I thought a card store would definitely take advantage of a long time player coming back to the game with hundreds of dollars to spend and a decent "old" collection some being beta and alpha but he said he wasn't really interested in anything without even looking at what I had I didn't tell him I had what I did or he prob would have wanted to look. I let all that slide for a couple years would just come in and grab some mtg stuff gear, and cards. asked about mtg game nights or anything was told they Haven't done it recently but would take down my name and number would let me know when it "starts back up" never got a call. The last thing I brought a couple ppl there not too long ago and was treated very rudely and like I've never been there before and he watched us like we were a bunch of teens about to steal things I'm well into my late 30s haha my friends were like that was super awkward. the place seems like they hate ppl looking to buy things. Also asking anything about dbz or manga at all is laughable. Maybe I just get stuck with the horrible bearded employee that hates his life or all of us everytime but I'm finally done with this place. I had this rated as 5 star, but after how I was treated today I changed it to a 1 star. I've been coming for the last 2 prerelease. Last one I ordered 3 boxes of mtg cards and he took my name and put it into the system. I was never told I need the receipt to pick it up. I thought that was the point of me giving him my info. I went to go pick it up and was told because I wasnt a regular that i need my receipt. The guy with the beard got really annoyed and angry. He walked around sighing and him slamming my ID on the counter. He used other businesses as examples on how things are ran which he was wrong about. I've been to other card shops and never had a issues with stuff I preordered. I spent almost 350$ to get the worst costumer service I've ever gotten and to be treated like subtier costumer because he doesnt know me. Me and my group of friends will find another card store to play at because they had issues...

I come here a fair amount but I won't be after today. The guy with the beard (probably the same dude that everyone else is complaining about) is incredibly rude. I came in today to pick up some materials for DnD, and obviously I'm picking up the books and thumbing through them to check out the content before I buy them. This guy leans over the counter and says in this rude, exasperated tone of voice "It's not a library guys! People actually buy those!" Like God forbid I read the materials for a second before I buy them. As if people in a book store aren't allowed to read the books for a bit before they buy them. Absolutely redicoluse. I came in to support a local business because all of the add on books for DnD are easily available FOR FREE online, and I made the choice to come in and spend my money on them anyway to try and support this guy's shop and I get that kind of treatment.
