Coffee Brake at Meeder — Restaurant in Cranberry Township

The cappucino is excellent. The service was friendly. The only reason I did not rate this place five stars is the location. I really do not like this sort of upper middle class ghetto. If they had actually done some great community landscaping on the green it might be better. There is a location that screams for raised community bed gardens and fruit trees. Paths and pollinator gardens. A pond. Instead you get to see some bright colored chairs a little sports equipment and a sea of sterile green grass. Frankly based on the selling price of the dwellings there it is disappointing to see what people will settle for so they can dwell at the right address with the right sort of people. But I digress. If you are in cranberry and want to sit outside with your partner for a great coffee and conversation then this is a good place to do it.

As a side note. The business has no control over the community...

Thought this place was quite overrated at its current 4.8 stars.

Pros: coffee was ok (not amazing, but ok) prices were decent, the community around it is nice, and the shades of blue and brick wall are nice.

Cons: terrible playlist (rhinestone cowboy?), very generic design elements (e.g. a big sign saying "delicious" drives me crazy with its lack of creativity), and a lack of cozy seating options inside. I also find the potato chips on the bar to be a bit tacky. It was also kind of slow or uninspiring in terms of the customer scene inside for the most part while we were there compared with the nearby coffee shop we had visited previous to this...

Coffee Brake is a jewel of a coffee house. It is an amazing place to come and work, meet friends or clients. There is nothing but love from the owner and the staff. I have been a regular since they opened and because the coffee brake culture, the coffee brake staff and environment is the reason why I come four days a week for a few hours to work, and have all of my meetings at this amazing establishment. Coffee Brake embodies unreasonable hospitality to its finest. The people who frequent this amazing place are cared for, and made to feel special.
