Goodwill Retail Store & Donation Center — Attraction in Crestview

I just want to say I will never step in another Goodwill ever again as long as I live I visited the Goodwill in Crestview Florida today and I found a jacket with horses on it and the zipper was broke so I took it up front and asked if I can get a discount and the young man said that he would fix it and he tried and he didn't fix it so I asked if they can give me a discount he said no it was already discounted that they were going to throw it away and I said why would you throw it away when I'm willing to pay something for it versus you throwing it away when you got it for free then he said we'll probably just send it to our Dollar store why would you do that when you can sell it to me for right now for half price and he said it's already discounted Us and how is it discounted when I just got it off the shelf. I am so disgusted that this was donated to them and they would rather throw stuff in the garbage then donate it to somebody else like homeless shelters or something or sell it for half price instead of sending it to another store when I was right there willing to pay something for it but to throw it away when it's donated in the jacket was in good shape it just didn't zip up it's ridiculous I will never step in another Goodwill ever again as long as I live this stuff is given to them for free and instead of throwing stuff away they could donate it to homeless shelters or to children that don't have clothes but they would rather throw it away then give it to me for a donated a discounted price so to me that just tells me that their money hungry and their prices on their stuff is ridiculous anyway it's just ridiculous when this stuff is given to themI will never shop in another Goodwill ever again and I pray nobody else does either. It's a disgrace to anybody that donates stuff to these people that they would rather throw something away and not discount it when it's already messed up and they told me it was already at a discounted price at $10 for a jacket that doesn't zip up I was willing to pay him $5 to give them something rather than them throw it away or send it to a dollar store why would you send it to another store when you have a customer wanting to pay for it or instead of throwing it away if you don't want to give it to me at a discounted price donate it to a homeless shelter or or to people that don't have clothes. It's ridiculous and it's a disgrace to everybody that donates their belongings to these individuals I pray nobody ever donates anything...

Wow! They have went up on their prices! I just saw a wheelchair there for $999.99. This is a used wheelchair and batteries Go bad! Why should they charge so much for much needed wheelchair for handicapped people. That's just wrong. This is not Goodwill it is a stick it to someone store! Remember owner! God is watching you! You may have to pay for your greed! Go buy new and you will better off!!!!! Why ? I am not going to donate for their CEO to get rich! The CEO should come try to buy something! That's probably the only one that can afford the items. You can buy same items for new at same price. Only a few items are priced right for their value. Somebody is getting greedy! They need to remember that these items are pre-owned and are not new. I don't know what happened to the good prices. Some items you can get new for the same or close to the their price. Hope they make a change. There are a few good priced items but one should always check new prices before buying used. I would suggest also using caution when buying new or used items in this time of this terrible viris spread. They are doing a good job of trying to protect their customers by offering towels to open the front door with, which I was very impressed with. They were also all wearing masks. Over priced. You can buy new things just as cheap when they are on sale in a mall. The manager treats people like they are thieves. I was in there once and heard her accuse a lady of stealing hair! I saw the woman come in wearing a ponytail so I was shocked when she accused that poor lady because she was looking at other hair pieces I guess. I felt so sorry for that woman I didn't come back for months hoping they had changed managers. When I started shopping there again, I saw the same manager treating another woman like a theif that was going to try on some clothes. I thought to myself this lady and I would have a knock down drag put if she EVER spoke to me the way I had witnessed her talking to others. I haven't been back since and won't until they clean the swamp over there. I recommend going to Watwrfront. The staff is always friendly, prices are twice as cheap and the store isn't nearly...
