Let's start at the beginning, I had to pick up one kid at 2 from school and get the other to an appointment im FWB by 3. I figured get them a snack at Sonic for the ride. Now just about every time we eat at this particular Sonic. Something goes wrong, either food is bad, service is slow, can't order what I want from the app. You name it. So this time I evepected something different. I could not get my truck to fit in the stall so I pulled into a stall with no monitors, and I still had to fold my mirrors in to get into that one. I put the order in at 1:57 and the ticket said the order would be ready at 2:01. So we are waiting and waiting. I am starting to think that someone came out and saw we weren't in the stall and went back in and threw the order away. I sent my daughter up to the door to see what the holdup was at about 5 after. She told them we were not in the stall but the one next to it. They told her it is coming right up. At this point I am now going to be late to the appointment. About 20 after, I see an associate walk out look in our direction and walk back inside. I sent my kid back over she comes back mad. Now we are late enough that we will be charged extra for the appointment. I gave it 3 more minutes and at 3:30. We left. It looked like someone was coming out as we were backing out then walked back in. The we left and I saw someone else look like they were watching us. I stopped and they went inside. I am officially out $25.68, plus the $25 late fee for the dr appointment. I did the order on the app. So they have my info. They did not try to contact me. Now I am sure they will say I wasn't in the stall. They didn't even have the common sense to see if the truck next to that spot was the right customer. Now we love getting Sonic. Of all the other Sonics on the Gulf Coast we go to, I don't have any issues with them and my truck fits in the spots no problem, it's tight but I can get in and out. Read moreI hate to be this person, I really do. But there are tons of other negative reviews here, and y'all should know. At least get it to a person in charge of this location instead of giving a link to text or an 800 number to call that does nothing productive.
I have been to this Sonic location three times. The first two times, I waited 30+ minutes to receive my order, once from a stall and once from ordering on the app.
What I had planned to cook for dinner tonight went bad, so I said ok we'll just go get Sonic. After my experience tonight, I will not be back to this location.
We arrive, press the button, and wait over 10 minutes with no answer. So I go to the drive thru thinking someone would answer there. Wait another 10 minutes, still nothing. So I drive around to a different stall, press the button, and it flashes for so long that it kicks me off and goes back to the original "press button to order" screen. So I press it again, proceed to wait probably 20 minutes at this stall, after already waiting 20 minutes in two different spots. No one ever answered.
I get being shorthanded. I get having to wait, as I was prepared to do so based off my past two experiences here. What I don't understand is being ignored, or why no one cared to answer even just to say "hey, we're swamped come back later." (They, in fact, were not swamped, and other people were ordering and getting their food, even if it was slow service.) From two stalls and the drive thru, you'd think someone would have picked up. But they didn't.
So I left and went to McDonald's down the road. They answered immediately, gave me my correct order, were pleasant, and I was in and out in under five minutes.

Read moreThe server called me a liar. Twice. I went to stall six and rang the button three times. No one answered or came. I looked at the box and it had jibberish in the screen area. I realized it was down. I drove to a different stall and the discount drink time just ended. I told the server, Ashley and she said I missed the promotion time frame. I explained the situation again and she said, "Let me ask." She said the promotion ended at 4 o'clock. I told her again when she came to my car and she said we have not had a problem with 6 all day. It was behind me. No one checked it even after I requested. I ordered a Cherry Limeade Slush with Rainbow Candy(Nerds) and had to repeat this twice because she did not say candy when I ordered at first. When I realized the rainbow candy was not in the drink I called back. She said I never ordered it. I said, yes, I ordered with Rainbow Candy. She said, what is that. I pointed to it on the board. She said you mean nerds. You never said Nerds. I pointed to the board where it now says "Rainbow Candy" because they do not use the word Nerds and stated I did not say Nerds. I said Rainbow Candy because that is what your business calls them now. She told me I would have to pay an additional $0.64. I said no thank you. Then I left very unhappy. They should have comped the "Rainbow Candy" on premise of getting the order wrong and not even having any idea of what they call there own product. After reading other reviews, I realize this is not a single incident at this location and it is a terrible place to go and especially bad if you are in a hurry and have a craving for something special because they will probably get your order wrong and blame you the customer for it.
